This was from Cartoon Network's Funniest Bloopers & Other Embarrassing Moments. I think it only came up in Summer of '06, I think...

  • Porky pig talks like my old teacher Mr. Underwood. hahahaha

  • lol

  • Maybe it was Noel Blanc, Mel's son. I heard or read somewhere that he did Porky's voice a few times (I think it might of been him who did Porky's cameo in the Animaniacs episode "De-Zanitized").

  • 0:18

  • 0:20

  • 0:50-LOL!

  • That is the worst actor to have done porky's voice.

  • @Sneep29 Agreed, he sounds more like Bugs.

  • Only Bob Bergen can pull off a post-Mel Blanc Porky correctly.

  • Lol!

  • this is so not mel blanc!

  • *sighs* they need to stop having random people doing Porky's voice after Mel's passing. I mean it's been 20 years, yeesh.

  • @passlion

Exactly. They don't care who gets the job of who's voice recording, as long as they have the money. Also, I'm with you Poole, and cartoons have been dumbed down to an insanely critical level. Cartoons are terrible in writing, voice acting, and directing. We need people who are actually talented, but of course we can never experience people like that because no one knows what quality is. Poole, you really caught the key note perfectly with your criticism.

  • @passlion I don't want porky to die too. =C

  • Porky Pig is my favorite cartoon character!

  • Oh, is he?

  • That's what they said.

  • Comment removed

  • Best.. comeback.. EVAR!!!! Seriously that was uber hilarious!

    Consider yourself a God!

  • LMAO that was the best comeback ever! Made my day.

  • haha, now THATS hilarious

  • one word: CLASSIC

  • cuz these days kids think boogers and farting is funny.

  • I hate toilet humour... It's the worst kind in all Comedy.

  • I thought it was funny. =D

  • I think you misunderstood what we're talking about.

Snookie77 pointed out that today's humour revolves around foul things such as boogers and farting.

I just stated that I don't like those kind of jokes.

I enjoyed this clip as well :D

  • Here here,it's a crying shame that most cartoons nowadays rely on nothing but that crap! That's why most cartoons on tv nowadays suck, cuz it's 90% farts and boogers! Give me anvils and dynamite any day of the week,or at least a pie in the face.

  • @Pooleman96 AMEN BROTHER

  • @Pooleman96 Or a rabbit dressing in drag.

  • @ZovestaDark OR, at least something with characters that actually HAVE character rather than children with mental disabilities or whiny tweens!

  • @Pooleman96

I disagree with you there - they're funny as long as they're done right.

  • @ZovestaDark Very good point. Looney Tunes made lack of intelligence funny, but these new cartoons don't. They tend to make it vapid and rarely amusing.

  • @Pooleman96 I agree. While I do like some new cartoons, most of them just make me groan.

We're missing a lot of visual gags and violent humour due to censors. =/

  • @ZovestaDark Well back when I was young, while I did like watching gems like Looney Tunes, most of the cartoons I watched were the classic Nicktoons like "Rugrats" and such. While you can say censors can be and will be a pain in the neck to cartoons, not all cartoons have/had to be violent to be amusing, and old-school cartoons like "Rugrats" is among those kinds of cartoons.

  • @Pooleman96 XD I actually hate Rugrats...

I was raised with everything on Adult Swim, Spongebob, and the Fairly Odd Parents. So... =V

  • @Pooleman96 Looney Tunes was actually aimed toward adult audiences when they originally came out, they were played before movies in movie theaters. Rugrats, although aimed toward kids, also included jokes and things only adults would notice or understand. Yes Rugrats was not violent, but it did show a dead body in the episode where Tommy gets lost at the post office and almost fell down the dead letter pit, a corpse of a postal worker is in it. :P

  • @tr9000 I know all that very well. Cartoons back in the 30's/40's WERE aimed at adults, even Disney's Mickey Mouse cartoons. They were basically either social commentary or just there to cheer us up during the Depression era. As for "Rugrats" jokes, one of the funniest things I saw was in "Spike Runs Away" where they went to the pet store. They had animals in small glass windows, even an elephant! It's funny even to this day!

  • @Pooleman96 Ah, yes. They used to make great cartoons in the past, what happened? They stopped making intelligent cartoons, even Rugrats was an intelligent cartoon until the final few seasons. Now everything is fart jokes or one-liners.

  • @Pooleman96 You speak nothing but the truth.

  • @Pooleman96 Complete agree. I still remember going to my Grandma's and watching Looney Tunes and other old cartoons. Cartoons like "Spongebob Squarepants" are just sad. The only cartoons I'll watch are the classics. It seems like all forms of entertainment are going downhill; TV, music, what next?

  • @Pooleman96 Amen, brother!

  • @Pooleman96 Oh yeah; because anvils and dynamite are SOOO much more clever, and stories were so much better when they were simple Predator Vs. Prey struggles that ruined suspense because physics altered themselves in favor of the heroes. Bull-fucking shit.

  • @Pooleman96 I want to see that coyote to get smashed by an anvil rather than some stupid fart joke.

  • @Pooleman96 ren & stimpy relied on the stuff you listed.

  • Yes they do. It's part of the evidence of how natural selection failed us.

  • i cant believe they stopped showing looney tunes...

  • They stopped showing Looney Tunes???? HONESTLY???? fuck!

if i had the money, i would buy every single episode made :]

  • Yep...I can't find it anymore. Rumor is that they'll bring it back in the future and it will increase ratings because no one has seen it in a long time.

  • If you have Rogers Box it's on Teletoon retro channel 284.

  • They have box sets on amazon!! It's been all restored and everything

  • @sd1angle you wanna know something else u'll never believe? they once canceled mr. rogers neighborhood

  • @sd1angle 2 words: public domain

  • That's pretty funny! I like how he says "W-w-w-whatever." at the end!

  • why is it a drum he's tearning through?

  • Because that's what he always does!

  • Why is it a drum he's tearing through? Very good question. I'm in my 40s and that never occurred to me. Damn. Now I'll be up all night wondering about that...

  • Because it's Looney TUNES (as in music)...and you can't really tear through trumpet. :P

  • I saw this on Cn's Funniest & other embarrasing Moments.

  • This is just toooooooooooooooooo funny!

  • Meh, the animation in this seems a bit stilted. Maybe I'm just spoiled by the Chuck Jones classics.

  • Name a cartoon that isn't.

  • They wouldn't fit on this page, you stupid idiot! I can't even remember all the great cartoons I've watched, I've seen so many!

  • Cute, but who was doing Porky?

  • Not sure

  • Bob Bergen

  • Actually,it sounds more like Tom Kenny.

  • who knew a cartoon kood hav blooperz?

  • does anyone have the other bloopers from that show? I recorded them before but I made a mistake and recorded over it.

  • This was from Cartoon Network's Funniest Bloopers and Other Embarrasing Moments, a blooper special from 2003's "Summer Fridays". I have the whole thing taped! For those of you who don't know, Summer Fridays was the title used to fill in the short gap between Cartoon Cartoon Fridays and "Tommy and Nzinga" Fridays.

  • lol i've never knew, looney toons bloopers...nice :P

    thx 4 sharin'

  • this shit iz funny!!
