You will probly be able to run in at medium with good frame rates, ebing your ramm and your cpu are both good, but you could do with upgrading your gpu just a little bit more, if you want something in a price range, i'd go for the 5770, it's pritty cheap, it's directx 11, and it will proforme exalently with you cpu and ramm :)

yeah, id definately say its worth buying. With a quad core like that you should be able to run this game great. My friend has that CPU with a 5750,(nearly same-ish performance) and runs this game maxed out easy. so your cpu is good, and this gpu is definately capable.

You should be able to run this game well at medium settings. maybe some high in there aswell, but i would not put HBAO on if you were playing it.

Your running it low res with a dual core and gt220?

If your running it that badly i would suggest upgrading to an ati. Maybe an old 4850 or 4870 or possibly one of the new 5750 possibly.

But some people have said that the game is bad with dual cores. Check some other bc2 vids with your gpu. Just youtube bad company 2 gt220 and see if it performs better with quad cores. If not then upgrade the gpu.

5770 is better than 5750, I have 4850, one of my friends irl has a 5750 and another friend has 5770. The one with the 5770 gets best performance graphics wise. And the phenom 965 3.4ghz is amaazing. Just make sure you have an am3 socket motherboard that can support the 965. I had to buy a new one when igot mine.

Go to the website of your motherboard manufacturer and look for your motherboard. There should be a cpu support list. Make sure the CPU you are buying is on the list. If not, there is a chance it might not work. On the mobo i thought it would work it didn't so instead of each core at 3.4Ghz it was 0.8Ghz

Well, im running this all medium, at all high(but no high textures included in beta) i got like 35+ constant.

I think you probably will get smooth gameplay aswell. Also cos the retail game will have further optimizations.

Yeah, they have added a patch for dual core and added more optimization for the retail although it was released after I upgraded. It should be good.
