michael has the perfect body for swimming, won millions already, did two olympics now he has one more game and then what, well, maybe another olympic since it is so easy for him and swimming has been so good to him. But again he is a cancerian, a total lover of bodies of water. He is at home in a swimmimg pool.
@butifarra61 he's been in 3 olympics sideny when he was 15 athens when he was 19 beijing when he was 23 he plans on going to 2012 then maybe gaging himself towards the 2016 olympics
To answer your question: if you are a trainer you may not be as good as your students in the competitive field but the best trainer and teacher in the entire world. Some people are awful practitioners but excellent theorists. It will always take two people, minimum, in the educational process of any discipline: a teacher and student and both should be the best at their office.
@Underpricing Nothing sad about it. Michael saw it coming. Ryan has been training much harder than Phelps in the past 2 years. But I doubt Phelps can be beaten by Ryan if he was training as much.
@Underpricing It's not sad, its actually a great tool for him to use. Michael will admit that he hasnt been practicing as he should and now its starting to show. Now that nationals are over he will take this experience and use it as fuel to push himself to be better. I'm sure he's going to put on a tremendous show in London!
BTW, dont think Michael losing that race is just because he is out of shape. Ryan Lochte is an amazing swimmer and he deserves alot of credit
@fleetfoot86 Exactly said ! Ryan is a great swimmer too ! if they trian hard for London, we are gonna see exciting owesome US teams in the pool ! Both men and women showed at Pan Pac they have great teams !
Hehe, he has short legs. Just like me. Helps in swimming so im not complaining.
