The TSA has *no* authority to do what it does. They are government agents, and therefore must follow all Constitutional regulations to the letter. There is no 4th Amendment exception for airport security, and because they are government agents, they are violating 4th Amendment rights. They *HAVE TO* articulate probable cause that you have or are about to commit a crime. What crime do you commit when you get on an airplane?

the treatment this young lady had was totally wrong. if such searches need to be done then they should be done with a medical person such as a R.N. or MD. OR Medic . they should not be employed by this security company or police at all. a lawyer who is sworn to be there to defend the person being searched should also be present. the person being searched should be allowed to have all of this recorded and the recording the sole property of the person being searched.

I had something happen to me only two weeks ago while leaving Chicago for Indiana! After security and getting my boarding pass, I had an hour delay. I was thirsty while waiting at my gate. I bought a bottle of water at the cafe across from my gate. I put it in my knapsack and proceeded to walk down the ramp to board the plane. There where two TSA agents, one on each side a man and a woman standing at the entrance to the plane. No one was being checked till the woman TSA agent stopped

The TSA has *no* authority to do what it does. They are government agents, and therefore must follow all Constitutional regulations to the letter. There is no 4th Amendment exception for airport security, and because they are government agents, they are violating 4th Amendment rights. @canofcrass -- No one violated the 4th Amendment. For that to happen, a person would have to have been FORCED to go through security. In the airport you have every Constitutional right you are entitled to and can opt out of the security procedure at any time.

I had something happen to me only two weeks ago while leaving Chicago for Indiana! After security and getting my boarding pass, I had an hour delay. I was thirsty while waiting at my gate. I bought a bottle of water at the cafe across from my gate. I put it in my knapsack and proceeded to walk down the ramp to board the plane. There where two TSA agents, one on each side a man and a woman standing at the entrance to the plane. No one was being checked till the woman TSA agent stopped
