Most people cycle their marine tanks with mollies...or cheap damsels. Its funny I named my mantis Marty as well...its how i came across this video. What type of mantis is it?
@Beinggreatfull There are no such thing as a salt water mollie i have a 75 gallon reef tank..and had a nano tank with a peacock mantis...check my videos out...but yea its not good to feed any salt water inhabitant fresh water foods.
@sjt6494 actually, yes there is chief, you can take any full freshwater molly and within 2or3 hours fully acclimate it to full strength sea water, it is common knowledge that mollies are originally from freshwater estuaries, now maybe i should further insult your intelligence and explain what an estuary is but i wont, thats what googles for. and p.s. whats so wrong with fooding saltwater freshwater foods? i know someone who use to keep a 30 an 125 reef that fed his corals and anenomes exactly

mollies are fresh water so how can the survive?
JagoFarmer 1 month ago
@JagoFarmer Mollies are actually brackish fish, they can survive in both salt and freshwater environments, provided they are acclimated correctly :-)
