question. why are people like madona, prince, michael jackson, and other non-rock artists being inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame when people like DEEP PURPLE or RUSH arnt even mentioned?

the hall of shame is a farce, when they let in sham pop and ignore groups like Rush ,Yes and other greats who paved the way and paid their dues. Todays music is corporate driven and not soul driven. give me a group who gives the corps the finger and play what they want not what some suit "thinks" is music.

Grammys blow ass. You need to be amazing to be inducted into the hall. I can't even think about getting my own band in there.

PS: Please don't talk about the demons of the music industry (what are they doing in the MUSIC industry anyway?) as you just promote them and create more revenue :\
