I've never seen the 82 version and never will. This is my Annie. I remember watching this with my grandma and thinking she was the coolest person ever because she let me stay up past my bed time to finish watching it.I don't care if the 82 version is 9,000 times better , this is my Annie.

@steeelblu I freaked when I saw that. I was a fan of the original soundtrack as a kid, but was more familiar with the movie version in the 80's. So to hear this song again was wonderful, and then to see Andrea...I was yelling and jumping up and down. As an adult. Yeah. ;)

@lilmissmusic2012 It really captured the spirit of New York. In the first movie, they could have been in any old city, but New York at Christmas is just so beautiful and I think that movie really made a bad decision with that.

@lilmissmusic2012 I like this number too; but you shouldn't knock the original. It's not just "some boring movie," it's CAMILLE, a Classic Film from the 1930's and they show it at Radio City Music Hall with the Rockettes performing, one of my favorite moments from the original...

I don't much like the speak singing at the beginning... At 2:20-ish, he lacks facial expressions, should have smiled... For some reason I dont think those tap sounds are legit... The star to be is amazing though.
