if the zombie hits you, you did it wrong. and make sure you are the closest to the zombie and that he is following you. with other people in the level it makes it harder because the zombie might follow the other person instead of you. I have done this in Shi No Numa and Der Riese as well, but it is significantly harder there for a reason i do not know of

actually, i know this glitch. if you have a zombie in verruct following you, just sprint into any bouncing betty on the wall, and back out a few feet and repeat a few more times. when you hit the betty you will move sideways a very small amount, and you can tell you ran into it correct. then, if you run back to the crawler (if you did it right) he wont hit you and will walk straight to the betties you ran into. when he touches it, he will be back to normal and i did this on ps3 and it worked
