I saw them in 1985 in Allentown, Pennsylvania on the "Theatre Of Pain" tour with Motley Crue. And to be honest, I liked Loudness more than The Crue.

The Crue was the same old story, all flash and ego and waiting to get to the women afterwards, but Loudness were there to DO A JOB, and they did it.

To put these two bands together in the first place was odd considering their musical styles, but it was cool because it showed that Loudness was way better, and harder, on many fronts.

I think what got that going, was the

"hair metal" factor, and the myopic commercial attitude of the critics and record companies that metal "sounded all the same."

Like many bands, they probably said..."look the same, sound the same, must be the same" and threw them out on the road to see the results, which considering the stark contrast between some of these bands, must have prduced some truly interesting moments in some cases.

wierd...i think the version therion did was much better, so was hammerfall's cover. the only problem i have with loudness is their accents are rediculously heavy. with swedish metal bands like therion and hammerfall you can understand what their saying.
