Happy Birthday my snookums bookums Charlie!!!!!! Thank you so much for this wonderful video! Charlie Chaplin hero of the world! Voice of the poor! Peace monger! Brilliant and Beautiful! We Love You Charlie!!!!!
Exactly! Mildred told him she was pregnant, (not true) so he married her. And Lita's mother wanted her to marry a rich man. Oh and by the way I LOVE Europe I just wonder because he had his own studio and he could work the way he wanted to. Alas we'll never know.
yes i completley agree. Mildred was his main wife that i absolutely could not stand. I could onlyu imagine f how much he could have accomplished here in america
No my grandfather was not an immigrant. My grandparents were married in the late 1920's. Personally I think Chaplin was kicked out more due to his sex life than his politics. Which I thought was TOTALLY absurd. I will always wonder what all he could have done had he stayed in the U.S.
oh wow... yeah true. in one of the interviews about his life, his daughter Geraldine has said that he had a thing for young girls and virgins, and with girls like that little whore mildred harris, i think we learned about his love of young women, and lita grey
Very sweet. My humble opinion, i don't think Charlie was any different than thousands of other men/women, especially in his day, concerning young women. My grandmother was married at 14 to my grandfather who was 25. They didn't kick him of the country either!
was your grandfather an immigrant?? because remember chaplin was an immigrant and he was also charge with unamerican acts...[which i thought was stupid]
he did look someone with a very cute sweet side but at the same time he did have a bit of a perverse side. with all those underage girls. so i dunno. i love the guy but this song kinda makes me think...it'sa bit creepy for some reason. cause i can't help connect it with that.
