  • oh my god its just sound very like the bristh leyland lynx bus i loved them seat bus bench seats dont make buses with them type of seats no more sad to see a nice bus to be scraped even though it would have a few more years of service?

  • Beautiful! I saw your videos of the DAB buses being smashed and it's very shocking seeing them like that. I want to ask if this one had the same motor as the MAN NL202 buses?

  • @filipe2951: They were three generation DAB Citybus. First one with DAF RS200L engine and ZF gearbox. The mark.II had MAN Do826luh and ZF gear. The mk.III was with DAF GS200M and Voith gearbox.

So only the mk.II had MAN engine, like in the NL202.

  • @KimB10M Thank you. Another question: are you going to put more of those videos of the DAB 15-1200C at the scrapyard. I know it's sad, I like this model so much, but at least it's a farewell :)

  • MAN chassis is not usual on DAB?

  • @regardman: "Real" DAB buses were wholebuilt buses, meaning DAB chassis and DAB body, so this bus is a "DAB DAB". :) In the 1990's, DAB buses were fitted with DAF engines, except in 1994-1995 where the DAB Citybus was fitted with this MAN Doh826 engine.

DAB bodies were also built on foreign chassis, like Volvo or Scania, but only for big clients, because DAB preferred to sell their own bustypes.
