That was the best Mini-Tornado I have ever seen. Had all the clasic signs of a SEQ Mini-Tornado. Huge Updraft, some good Meso rotation, intense downdraft, very tall cloud structure with intense cooling aloft. Best Mini-Tornado in years. Sorry to hear of the loss to property.

This is completely natural Australia has such diverse weather conditions, all ways has been and always will be.

Love those storms but a shame about the damage, some areas recorded peak gusts in excess of 130km/h, stronger than the squalls of a category 1 cyclone.
