AMERICAN PEOPLE ATTENTION! REAGAN OPENED EYES TO SOVIET UNION, NOW RUSSIA IS BECOMING CAPITALISTIC COUNTRY, I NEED UR VOTE , WHO THINKS WE SHOULD RENAME REAGAN AIRPORT INTO CLINTON AIRPORT?
which surveys some of the economic problems plaguing Michigan and the nation, and the ideas of the one man with a viable solution, rooted in freedom and peace:
"More than the other primary candidates, Romney has President Bush's virtues and avoids his flaws. His moral positions, and his instincts on taxes and foreign policy, are the same. But he is less inclined to federal activism, less tolerant of overspending, better able to defend conservative positions in debate, and more likely to demand performance from his subordinates, we vote for Mitt Romney."
Well, I'm glad Romney wouldn't bail out the banks, but I'm unclear as to whether he wants to bail out individuals. People made their choice; now they must live with the consequences.
If you pay close attention, he's willing to let them refinance their loans so they can keep their houses. Letting them default on their loans and lose their homes is a lose-lose.
(sighs) I'm experiencing severe economic ignorance here; I'm beginning to wish I had taken a macro-economics class somewhere in college. If he lets them refinance their loans, what happens to those loans they originally financed? Do they get anything? Or are they declaring bankrupcy, but Romeny would provide them a way to take out another loan.
The original loan would get paid off buy the new loan with more reasonable terms. Banks win because people don't default, people win because they don't lose their homes or credit, country wins because it doesn't hurt the economy.
@mmarshall76 -- ROMNEY'S 2012 PLAN CUTS MEDICARE--Ron Paul’s plan cuts $1 trillion the first year & balances the budget in 3 years. The plan cuts spending by ending the costly foreign wars, and cuts foreign welfare, corporate welfare, and overgrown federal bureaucracy. These cuts are made so that those who are dependent on domestic spending programs such as Medicare aren’t endangered through a sudden change in benefits. Romney’s plan cuts Medicare, on which many elderly Americans rely.

Mitt is an economic genius. He will cut spending. Is there a politician in the last 20 years that didn't say that?
