you can't really compare the cars if you took a random sampling in vancouver, cause the prices of cars in Taiwan are almost double in comparison to the cars in Vancouver. For example, a brand new nissan 350z 2006 model will cost you around $60,000 whereas in Taiwan it'll cost you near up to $120,000

Yeah in America the smallest VW we get is the Golf. Seems like there sure is a heck of alot of Toyota.

With the suv I would say go for it especially if you have bad weather a lot there (which it doesn't look like it) because suv's get decent mpg and can handle about any weather while hauling things. Just all around very functional.
