Multi-color flame overkill glitch (Xavier's Stage)

Choose Xavier as your character. For your final attack, perform the Confusion Spell (Light Kick & Hard Kick simultaneously). Knock your opponent into the fire. The skeleton and flames will change color depending on who you defeated and what costume color they have. This works on every character.

Not sure if anyone's ever seen this but it's something I discovered. There's a glitch in Xavier's stage for his overkill =)

Pick Trident as your character and if you use his stun fireball (Hold back for 2 seconds, then forward and Heavy Punch) as your final move, when you knock your opponent into the fire, the burning corpse and flame graphics will change colour depending on who you're fighting!

This works for each character's 2 colours so try 'em all for different colour combos!

the second game was alot more brutal than this one. well, it was more like a special addition than a sequal.

why didn't they release challengers from the dark side on virtual console instead of this one?

Because of what u just said: it was WAAAY more brutal! So they probably didnt think it was a good idea to release it on such a..."family oriented" console since Nintendo is focusing so much on giving it's consumers games 10 year olds can play with grandma and grandpa <_< And as a Wii owner who has owned every Nintendo console and handheld(except virtual boy)they're COMPLETELY ignoring anyone older than 12 and all they do is casual crap now. The last hardcore game that came out was the ToS sequel

I played this game like crazy when it came out my favorite character is xavier
