With a few exceptions, Bush worked with leaders focused on a trickle down economic theory (which, in case you didn't notice, FAILED) and aggressive retaliation instead of attempts at negotiation. I was in Chicago on Election night we was at home watching the polls and as soon as we got heard Obama won we went downtown. We couldn't get into Grant Park becuase it was entirely 2 crowded but if you would have been in my city that day I swear it wasw MAGIC. Everybody was excited, dancing in the streets, honking cars.
