That is Amazing. Your experiences alone sound like a novel in itself. I love what your doing. 5 months ago I went with a group of church members to pass out lunches, blankets, and toiletries to the homeless. It was one of my most valued experiences. I cant say exactly what it is, but I makes me feel so much better when I can support someone less fortunate then I am. I feel bad because I dont do it often enough, but I do realize that helping others is part of what life is about.
@paulanthonydavenport I love community service... we are all a part of this world and everyone deserves dignity and respect. Don't feel bad about not getting to volunteer as much - there are so many ways people can do good in the world. I'm sure that you are making this world a better place in your own way :)
@katinatreesee true, my goal is to write and create films that will try to change peoples thinking for the better. But sometimes I think the direct, hands on way of changing the world one person at a time is alot better and more effective. My dream service would be to go to South Africa and support those Children and Areas suffering from Mal-nutrition. Hopefully I will be able to do that one day. Or any other service I choose will do me well :)
It's great to hear some of your stories, it sounds really interesting. I used to do some volunteer work but it wasn't a very good group so I must get into it again sometime. Also, have you ever read the novel called Stuart: A Life Backwards? You could probably combine your experiences with a book review. I thought it was quite a good book about homelessness and the like. It makes you think. I really enjoy your videos, keep it up!
