i hope you all realise it is possible to use auto-tune live these days. if you're gonna type it, at least know the facts. just because T-Pain uses auto-tune like a vocoder effect doesn't mean this doesn't have auto-tune because it's more natural sounding.

@borgyxx He doesn't sound different than when he used to. Maybe some minor changes because he had to have the surgery and all. But he doesn't use auto-tune really at all.

@MadisonGaveItToYou I actually like the sound of his voice, but since Sing the Sorrow there's auto tune on all AFI studio releases. It's obvious he doesn't use it live especially on 'I Heard A Voice' but in no way does his voice sound exactly like the studio versions (look up Veronica Sawyer Smokes live). The auto-tune is more noticeable on Crash Love because Joe McGrath clearly didn't know how to use it subtly like Jerry Finn (R.I.P.). I just wish they avoided auto tune entirely going natural.

@borgyxx Everyone uses auto tune for music these days, I wasn't saying that AFI didn't. But they definitely don't use as much as most artists these days. I still think he is a beautiful singer live too.
