This is why i play pirate games, so later, i don't have to regret or ask for my money back! @ChaosMaster7 u dont get what im saying, theres games specifically made to be fast action, by square, dissidia, and kingdom hearts, etc etc, if you ask most ppl would always agree to either FF7,8 or 10 even 6 as being the best titles so far in the series. Even if you make every other single game action rpg, except Final fantasy, that still would be fine by me. Its my own preference, im not saying its best, so you can F me all u like, wont change a thing ;)

@cloudXvan Sorry if I'm a bit late to answer, but maybe this comment might help other people who view this video. The name of the music in this battle is "Sword Sparks" while the victory theme is "Horns of Victory" The first battle music played at the beginning is "Clash of Opposites" while the boss battle music is "Eternal Struggle" Underground normal battles are "Flamedrop" and when you reduce a boss to just itself (meaning no other enemies) "Eternal Struggle" turns into "Reversal"

I played the game and REALLY hated it at first. Now it's all I can think off, it took me four months to get over my first rage though. But it actually is a brilliant game, and it is inconsistent with the many bad reviews. Eventually you'll get to a part where every action in a battle makes sense, the consequences become "visible" and you get sucked into it more and more.

To be honest i kinda agree with you, this looked good to me, but like when i saw the battle gameplay im like....nah not really keen on it. Like FF and back in the day playing Pokemon lol are the only turn based games i enjoy, like turn base isnt that exciting unless the game has a good story line and something else attractive to it. The story line in this seems boring, basically from my point of view its a second hand FF game and i might give it a miss.

@Crono4KnighT You know, like not action games like Diablo, but I think it'd be interesting if it was action rpg(different genre than just action) like Star Ocean, they did good job of that style of gameplay and frankly it would be interesting IMO, if done right. ie. I mean wouldn't it be cool to use like Squall's ultimate Lionheart by tapping up some key combos rather than go in the list and selecting it?

@Crono4KnighT 100% agreed, whatever happen to games like elder scrolls 3 and 4, morrowind and oblivion, now that was real time rpg. if you swung your sword fast, then it would really do it, the same for your spells and so on. the only game in my opinion that ever had a chance at the "you hit me, i hit you" type genre rpg was WoW and even thats been burnt out now for a while. Can only hope for an elder scrolls 5 i suppose

Just download the torrent for PC. No worries there. I will be downloading it soon just have to get my upload back to par. Its a 9gig game and if you have a good connection you can have it downloaded in 2hrs or less. I just need to get my ratio back up because I had to download empire total war twice which eqauled up to 24gigs.

i read some comments. and i do agree with the fact that during battle this game isnt too hot. its just a nice looking game. "looking." just like. for ex. you meet this really hot guy/girl. what if he/she is a total ass? she just "looks" good, right? no personality, nothing. This is the worst rpg game i have ever experience, not only the battle system is broken but there is no real control over your characters in battle. You are pretty much pressing a few buttons and watching the battles play out them selfs. There is hardly no customizing your battle parties that much. One of the worst things and i mean the worst is im some where half way through disk 2 and i have yet to see a story in this game. Also 90% of the game is repetitive dungions and side quests.

I like this turned based style. It's a refreshing view on large-scale battles that have you engaged in combo's of games. Good job on Enix's parts.
