the jets need a quaterback who can move around quickly in the pocket, maneuver, and scatter to the sidelines quickly... and be able to run for a first down when it is needed
if ratliff can develop that ability then he'll be the starter... if not then clemens will be the starter because he has the speed and agility to move around, buy time, and find the open reciever
if u notice... all the successful teams in the NFL have a quaterback who could dash for it under the heat
ratliff is gunna have the job next year
