  • THE TROY BECAME THE 3000 BC.

  • megan fox shoould of been in this movie

  • Is this 2003?

  • For Cassandra to have her powers that young it means that Apollo approached her when she was just a child. I understand that back then it was common for a man to be attracted to young ladies but Cassandra is what, eleven here?

  • though I enyoyed this adaption of the troyan war, I recommend everyone to read Colleen McCullough's book "the Songs of Troy". Best story based of troyan war ever done. Better than any adaption ever done.

  • mouth movement too late

  • Achilles is better small but strong than big and buffy because it makes the gift of the Gods to Achilles way cooler idk just my opinion :)

  • @biancutie Also, in just sheer appearance, Brad Pitt is perfectly suited to play a Greek hero based on what we see in classical and neo classical sculpture. The Greeks typically idealized youthful and sometimes even feminine facial features in warriors and athletes, along with the body of a fitness model. A buffed, not overly massive "pretty boy" is best suited for these kinds of roles.

  • @LexPhilogus U DUZZLE GOUCHE BRO?

  • @HomleandSecurity I have no idea what that means.

  • Achelles was like the greek version of Chuck Noris. Sweet.

  • @lololo1186 THE CHUCK NORIS IS BRITISH BARBARIAN

  • @unfukkkmee But I know how to eat with a fork, so I can't possibley be a barbarian.

  • @lololo1186 THE CHUCK NORIS IS BRITISH BARBARIAN IN ORIGIN

  • @unfukkkmee Okay cool your jets, man. Would it help if I said sorry?

  • these people talk of this poem, STORY, like it's historical fact, almost 300 idiotic comments, are people really this sad, they see a movie and think all this really took place, POEM, STORY, LEDGEND, MYTH! It was set 800 years before it was written............ Fucking Idiots, good poem though Homer.

  • @RaulMeatFactorys Actually, it's been proven that Troy most likely did actually exist, and at around the time that Homer was indicating. Based upon his date of birth, and the fact that he was writing about an event that occurred roughly 500 years before his time, in conjunction with the archaeological evidence of a man-based destruction of Troy VII, it is very likely that the great war of Troy did in fact occur. So yes, it is a story. But there is a lot of evidence to suggest its truth.

  • Respond to this video... Funny that 300 commentors were having an enjoyable time discussing something that they like and only one really sad pathetic person decided to be a fucking idiot. Learn your history, get your head out of your ass, and have a nice day.

  • are you telling me that Cassandra can foretell things at this young age? are you telling me that apollo had relations with her at that age? lol

  • Oh, so the third one isnt called Boomer then..... ;)

  • The sounds a bit dodgy but the cast list is interesting, Bond fans will chuckle at General Pushkin getting it on with Kara :) and Gaius Baltar as Mr helen of Troy, how cool is that? :)

  • How do you pronounce all these names???

  • @101rocketmail In Soviet Russia, names pronounce you.

  • How could that baby freaking survive that fall?!

  • Brad isn't the perfect Achilles, but he's fun to watch. :)

  • The visual and music goes different. how to fix???

  • TAGA USC-SOUTH CAMPUS JD KA BSTA NING TAN.AW KA ANI :))))

  • In "Tory" they focused on Achilles character, this movie is more accurate with Homer's Illiad.

  • Gosh this plus Brad Pitt as Achilles would be the perfect Troy movie.

  • My favourite Troy movie, despite some of the really unneeded additions (like Helena having to walk in front of those guys at the feast).

  • Guys...it's Rufus Sewell. I mean COME ON! How can you NOT love this simply because of him?

  • Fail movie horrible actors gay story line and Joe Montana as Achilles

TROY was a much better movie great acting and Brad Pitt did an excellent job as Achilles

  • Why does every film on the Trojan War have the Mycenaeans wearing corinthian helmets, something that wasn't invented about 500 years later.

  • TNX

  • The Trojans designed the world's first condom.

  • @leafyutube BRITISH TRASH GO BACK IN Britain.

    THE CANADA IS FRENCH

  • The Helens always disappoint me

  • the goat is so cute :D

  • I like this better than Troy, first the events are more accurate and detailed. in troy the gods of the greek mythology were completely left out, its like taking color out of the movie, but here they are present and visible i like that, also this helen seems much more legendary than the helen in troy and cassandra and clytemnestra r also given their roles

  • @vashtiverous78 its cuz Troy was mostly made for Achilles and the action. It wasnt that bad.

  • @vashtiverous78 THEMUTHOLOGY IS REAL HISTORY OF GREEKS. THE TROYANS ARE GREEKS. THE TROY WAR WAS CIVIL WAR

  • @unfukkkmee it's mYthology...and it's troJans...

  • @mien9020 GO DIE GERMAN BARBARIAN. AND LISTEN TO ME THE MYTHOLOGY IS REAL GREEK HISTORY. THE TROYANS ARE GREEK PEOPLE

  • @unfukkkmee GREEKS ARE FRUIT SALADS WHO HAVE SEX WITH YOUNG BOYS AND SHEEP. AND GREEK ARE HALF BREED OF MONGOL AND TURK.

  • @vashtiverous78 THE MYTHOLOGY IS REAL GREEK HISTORY. THE GREEK TROY CIVIL WAR BECAME THE 3000 BC

  • The guy who plays Paris is HOT. I'll take him over Brad Pitt anyday. this is so much better than Troy.

  • Achilles is bald, fucking hell.

  • @Linear500 LOL...

  • @Linear500 He's supposed to have yellow hair.

  • i would chose Hera at his place

  • It was said Achilles was the most handsome warrior in this war, this guy is fucking dirty haha

  • @xENDxINFERNO I know right? xD

  • Wow... My classics teacher would go MENTAL if she saw how 'historically incorect' this was! She was bad enough when she watched the film Troy :P

  • Sienna looks like the real Helen of troy............

  • Pick Athena, m'lord, pick Athena! ... aw crap.

  • wow they sure did get this wrong

  • Brad pitt sucks in ever movie so thats why not watching this even if id kill to see it

  • suppose if they ddn't throw him away would the events still take place?

  • so Achilles transformed into Ajax...mkay. Sorry, Brad PItt had it perfect; can't beat it!

  • @JeanPhilippeLepage Hmm... Sorry but saying that Brad Pitt was the perfect Achilles is in my opinion as blasphemous and profane as saying that Arnold Schwarzenegger was the perfect Mr. Freeze...

  • @Kotlettbengt hahaaaaaaaa.

  • @Kotlettbengt he was the perfect mister freeze. I mean he was the only one.

  • @LoneBaldEagle Except for the comic book original, which 99% of his appearances come from.

  • @Kotlettbengt i agree with you completely about brad pit...i actually despise 99% of everything that comes out of Hollywood, however I'm curious to know the reason why you dont think brad pitt made a good Achilles.

  • @slovakmath He's too American, kindof, those cheeks of his could cut someone's eyes out... And the accent (not to mention the language) is about as fitting for Achilles as Jackie Chan would fit in that role, there's no way Achilles would look like that (he's way better than the so called Achilles shown in these series though). Sure, Pitt has the body and the physique, and he's not too bad an actor, but I just found him too Hollywood for a legendary role like Achilles.

  • @Kotlettbengt lol omg and Arnold Schwarzenegger isnt good at anything he does not even being a dad or husband

  • @Kotlettbengt dude, chill out. Why you gotta be so cold to the Ice man?

  • @firebush31 I'm a cold-hearted person...

  • @Kotlettbengt lol

  • @Kotlettbengt are u insane... brad pitt role waz flawless in dat movie

  • @Kotlettbengt You have a solid point, nevertheless, can you honestly say count bullethead the battletank is a great improvement?

  • @Blisterdude123 Don't know that character, who is it?

  • @Kotlettbengt The mighty acting behemoth who portrays achilles in this little slice of entertaining historical ineptitude

  • @Blisterdude123 Ah, now I'm with you. Indeed no, no improvement at all, they could as well cast a Chinese to portray Achilles.

  • @Kotlettbengt I wish I could like this a 1,000 times.

  • @grublet13 Indeed ;)

  • @Kotlettbengt George Sanders was a better Mr Freeze.

  • @Sibs 1990 IK that im not that dumb! I was just telling leoquaz003 what the myth was

  • nit bad mouthing this but is the mouth movement off?

  • No mater how hard directors would try to recreate battle of Troy, no one could beat film called "Troy" 2004. That movie is increadible.

  • I got sucked into this movie from the get go. That never happens. =\

  • leoquaz003 achilles was really immortalthe only part of him that was vulnerable was his heel. his mother supposedly dipped him into the river styx and held his heel so he wouldnt drown. if u tried to cut of his jead the blade probably wouldnt to go through his head. good question

  • @99emmawatsonfan He was probably just a bloody good soldier who got shot in his heel and bled to death he wasn't immortal just knew how to fight

  • the old movies are always better... they didn't have visual effects and they focused in the heart of the story...now they care only for visual effects and not for the point

  • Was Achilles really immortal? what if i cut his head? would he still be alive? I will appreciate your answers?

  • i expected troy but this is different movie but it seems this is better than the troy!

  • @singularku Was Achilles really immortal? what if i cut his head? would he still be alive? I will appreciate your answers?

  • She's the one who plays the supposed to be elf on the bad movie rendition they did of Eragon.

  • Id prefer this movie than troy for 1 reason, the battles! The trojans only hid behind there walls raining arrows they never once went out with a full army to attack the greeks

  • i think this is more detailed than troy with orlando bloom

  • This adaption isn't the best I've seen.....gets a lot wrong. Entertaining though I guess.

  • History would have taken a different course if Helen of Troy would have looked like this........what were they thinking???

  • Is this the famous film troy?

  • @bausi91 In other words, no. It is not the Troy you're thinking of. It's a different movie.

  • The actress who plays Helen is very beautiful. I remember her from the Time Machine remake.

  • the best film

  • what an incredibly unattractive helen!

  • Ah the capricious whims of the Gods and Goddesses. ^_^ What this story is NOT showing is that Paris's father was actually Zeus. LOL. THAT is why he wasn't killed outright, the Gods were moving in their own mysterious ways...

  • Sexy ass goat....

  • the slut of troy

  • THNX SOOOOOOO MUCH

  • he was born with a curse that the country that will house him will fall in war

  • That is the cutest goat I have ever seen! c: I love him!!

  • Had i been Priam, I would have killed him where I could see...instead of doing what so many other Greek kings tried to do

  • 0:59.hard to believe hes the mightiest of the greeks.=

  • lol my name is helen

  • they should make more movies of sluts in these days of presents

  • cruelest king ever to order to kill his own son, just a baby he never done any harm

  • I just have to say that it must have been A LOT of pressure on the actress who plays Helen. I mean you`re deemed `the most beautiful woman in the world`. Really? who could live up to that?

  • @UndecidedFan definitely not that actress i mean there are WAAY better looking women than her imo

  • i9s this the movie troy?

  • Comment removed

  • Really out of sync D:

  • yea….that's a nice and sure fire way to kill your son. :P

  • The Greeks knew their onions even if they disguised them in myth. Cassandra was the original bipolar and Priam the father of schizophrenia. The gender confused insanity of Achilles and Agammemnon could have set up Freud for life and poor old sheep-slaughtering Ajax would have lived his life in a straight jacket in any other age. Hector was apparently a coward and Helen a bit fickle and jealous of Polyandra who was slaughtered in typical mysogenistic style. Oh hell, who cares ....

  • yes there comes my name from cassandra

it's funny to hear my name in a movie ;p

  • thats where my best friends name comes of :P

    Cassandra :D

  • the girl who played Helen isn't that pretty

  • helen isnt that pretty, i heard she was the most beautiful woman on earth, maybe its just the actor

  • paris is cute <3

  • Troy with Brad Pitt is much better fillm than this

  • @lotsofinterests1 I agree, but this version is much more accurate to the actual mythology.

  • @alittlebirdysaid How can you be more accurate about stuff that was made up ^^. The only fact that can be verified is that troy was sacked more than once.

  • @InfindecimalSlice I said 'accurate to the mythology' - as in the story as is widely accepted by historians. The version shown in this movie is the series of events generally depicted in the myth - the movie 'Troy' is very different and in many ways actually NOT accurate to the mythology. I'm not implying that either version is a reliable representation of the actual sacking of Troy, I'm just saying this version is the one which follows the actual mythology.

  • @alittlebirdysaid ye, troy is a joke, they made an action movie and they even missed the most action packed parts. (like Achilles fighting another hero of divine lineage)

  • @alittlebirdysaid my friend thats the mythology ,but troy movie showed the truth, cus their historians discover what really happened.

  • @angeloflove75 Except there's no actual consensus among historians about what really happened. Some believe it's all made up, some believe the legend is a fantastical derivation of the truth and some believe the myth is a combination of root legends from all over Europe. The movie Troy was basically a 'what could have happened', but it's not a reliable 'truth' so to speak.

Anyway, they're both good in different ways :)

  • @alittlebirdysaid well nobody knows what happened in every man's life but the movie troy was base in new discoveries by the archaeologist, so troy is closer to be the truth, they found parts of the wood horse, and some more but of course they can't know about what every one of them did or talk, but they know what generally happened.

  • @angeloflove75 The movie Troy represents what they believe happened according the the legends, minus the mythological aspect. We know there was a city of Troy and that it was sacked, but we don't know who was involved or what exactly happened; Troy is taking bits of the legend to fill in the historical gaps.

  • @alittlebirdysaid well based on the information that i have from history channel is that they show the movie based(as i told you before)on the archeological discoveries,of course its not %100 but it's the closest one.

  • @Chex186 NOOOOOO REALLY

  • this movie is really boring even the beguinning

  • loving father fiqure 'take him to the mountain and throw him off the highest peak' hmm i guess this is why we have visitaions laws

  • brad pitt is so hot in this movie i almost cant take it

  • @vollygril37380 are u a tard bad pitts isnt in this movie

  • @crashdummy40 my bad damn i realized i watching the wrong movie why dont you learn how to spell retard before calling someone a name u can even finish spelling

  • @vollygril37380 lol for 1 it was the over exaggerated imitation of a retard the retard being you and the finish represents the end of what ever it is...... 2 the end / finish of the word was there the beginning was missing and 3 i will typ hwevr I FkInG ChOOzee (ps your not a retard mabe you just lack a sense of humor) i was just poking fun at your mistake

  • @crashdummy40 oh shut up i dont have time for this bye

  • @vollygril37380 lol buh bye and you wouldnt be on youtube if you didnt have time to blow

  • voice out of sync

  • Okay.. possibly, the actual characters should've played the roles for a movie of the Illiad for most fans. *Achilles- Of course, Brad Pitt *Helen- Diane Kruger or.. *Odysseus- Armand Assante from the movie: The Odyssey. * Paris- Orlando Bloom or Matthew of H.O.T. * Hector- Eric Bana * King Priam- Peter O' Toole *King Menelaus- James Callis, of the movie you're watching. * King Agamemnon- Actually, both Brian Cox [Troy] and Rufus Sewell[ this movie] make an excellent Agamemnon.

  • This would of been kool but they potray Achilles SO WRONG!!

  • tnx for this video its a great help for me coz this movie is a part of our test and i wasnt in our class when our teacher let them watched it
