  • dammit a 3rd in my arcade goals atomiswave naomi and now this :p

  • I found a PGM arcade system with 2 games (demon front and Sangoku 2) on ebay today for $250 which I bought, I only don't know what else I'd need to make it work on my LCD tv to, "Concolize" it...could you help and or do a video on that for me? You seem to be VERY much in the know.

  • And the idea that Sangoku Senki is a ripoff of Sengoku on Neo Geo is downright ludicrous.

Both games are in the well-established arcade genre called "beat 'em ups" but the similarities in gameplay end there.

Your assumption that the games are related seems to be based on the similarity of the words "Sengoku" and "Sangoku" which may sound similar to you, but are actually two unrelated historical terms.

Sengoku=the warring states period of Japan

    Sangoku=3 kingdoms period in China

  • @kazekirifx that's good. please make the video of Sangoku Senki lol

  • While your point that the hardware is modeled after Neo Geo is entirely valid and agreed upon, your idea that the games (aside from Demon Front of course) are modeled after Neo Geo I find to be pretty silly.

Minasama no okagesame de is a Mahjong game, and the Dragon World games you are holding in the video and claiming to be copied from "Minasama no okagesama de" are basically the game Shanghai, which is an entirely different game which is played with the same pieces.

  • IGS is a Taiwanese company, not Korean. Though, as you rightly point out, the system has had a pretty big presence in Korea.

  • Hey Luke do you have a Atomiswave? Great video!

  • GREAT video, Luke! Very informative. Thanks man.

  • .i heard some of there staff & developers @ snk help to bring this system out...i remember playing in the arcade martial masters that was a cool fighting game cool XD

  • Man your videos are excellent always learning something new.

  • @mdjdm44 My comment was a bit ambiguous it should read: “...I’m always learning something new” : )

  • Luke please tell me where to get one (PGM) please

  • Great stuff. R u ever goin to get more consoles or games?

  • This is a weird one. A very weird one. looks like a really funky console that someone took apart. Show us Demon Front!

  • Great stuff, Luke! =D

  • Pretty neat stuff Luke!

  • Play us some Demon Front. Show us how great it is.

  • Great video. Any Hard off videos?

  • i just want to see the cartridge go in the slot!

  • Awesome! I was just reading about the Neo Geo MVS and AES systems in Retro Gamer Magazine. This is one awesome clone lol. So It's got a 68k and Z80 just like a Neo Geo? Did anyone ever make a full blown clown that played MVS carts?

  • Awesome post, Brother Luke!

  • This is a badass upload

  • LUKEMORSE FROM JAPAN!!!

  • Sweet, the original Ketsui/Dai-Ou-Jou/EspGALUDA system, nice get!

  • I thought PGM did coin mech's, Hoppers and fruit machines, maybe I am getting mixed up with JPM, oh well nice machine.

  • Never seen one of these before, nice.

  • Excellent video mate, very helpful!

  • AWESOME. Congrats on owning that system, I know it can be a difficult one to get your hands on.

Time to save up a butt-load of money and pick up a CAVE title or two, right? :D

  • thx 4 the vid luke i never heard if demon front or the Igs. thanks for the info man

  • Luke, have you ever come across the 80's Data East cassette arcade systems ever? Always wanted to see one of those.

  • i saw a clip of that game and it not all that bad it's good actually

  • Last Demon Front that was on eBay was 155$ - Nice video, never saw these when I was in Korea.

  • this video has made me curious about the hardware. I might have to track down one of these for my collection.

  • Forgot to say also that the PGM is the most unreliable arcade game system, very temperamental system the older it gets and almost all the chips on the board are custom.

  • It reminds me of the Korean MSX-based home consoles they had over there. I love these cool obscure systems!

  • It's made in China, too.
