Nikki's there when everyone else has given up on you, and replaces the "friends" who dont give a fuck about you. Trying to get off it the first time, I went and bought the heroin diaries, but there i was a couple months later using the cover of the book to bump lines of speed off of. The shit drives you crazy, you get paranoid, start hearing cracks and seeing tiny dots but i pulled through. To all addicts out there still in love on your girl with golden eyes. When no one else is there, Nikki is.

Hey man if I can break my addiction anyone can. It really does feel better to be sober you cravings for anything stop after a little while then it's smooth sailin soon you forget it about it. This is coming from a ex pothead as well as other drugs. Stay strong like mysilentdeath said and anyone can give up the shit. Plus you don't have to worry about shit then.

i can understand how easy it is to become an addict. my addiction started fron an injury an before i knew it my family lost our home to my need for pain pills. so don't judge until you have been there....
I wish my sister in law could have heard this so she could have found some hope from her addictions. She died of a drug overdose on Jan.3rd of this year, she was only 47 yrs old. I think this is a great song because it is real from someones heart. Very inspiration to those going through addiction and trying to get out.

I personally survived the 80’s with a needle in both arms. How? I an intervention I didn’t ask for. I thought I had it under control. The reality, it had me under control.

Ive been messin with heroin for over 10 years. went to methadone clinic for 6 months now im tryin to come off that too. all i want to do is stay off the shit. but then again I am so sick of being sick and tired. Its not worth goin through the pain of the consequences to just feel good for a few hours. If I go back out there Im not comin back. I know I will die the next time.

Sixx A.M. are one of my favourite bands nikki sixx inspires me so much i was clinically depressed when i discovered the heroin diaries book and cd it helped me so much im from christchurch new zealand and i just lost everything in the earthquake we just had but one of my few things to survive was the heroin diaries album its helping me through these tough times

i can understand how easy it is to become an addict. my addiction started fron an injury an before i knew it my family lost our home to my need for pain pills. so don't judge until you have been there....

I wish my sister in law could have heard this so she could have found some hope from her addictions. She died of a drug overdose on Jan.3rd of this year, she was only 47 yrs old. I think this is a great song because it is real from someones heart. Very inspiration to those going through addiction and trying to get out.

@xXiRahpeYourMindXx im not gunna start a arguement but if you look it up a bit. in interviews andy six's number was six for eerything and he looked up to motley crue, he didnt copy the last name, but if u read nikki sixx's book he stole the name from a guy who didnt make it in the music world. but i LOVE nikki sixx and andy six but they are diff type of music they are amazing!

@SuperflyWhiteMan69 I heard it was actually DJ who wrote and co wrote most of the songs. I don't believe it tho. It's about Nikki's life so I doubt it was DJ.

That's really terrible to hear. But it's amazing and really quite awesome that you still have the CD to listen to. And Nikki Sixx's words in all of the songs on the CD are extremely inspirational. I must agree with totally in that sense. And good luck to you.

If you've never struggled with addiction you have no idea what you’re talking about. It’s easy when you’re looking in. It’s a hell of a lot harder than it looks to get out. I personally survived the 80’s with a needle in both arms. How? I an intervention I didn’t ask for. I thought I had it under control. The reality, it had me under control.
If you are struggling with addiction get help.
Seriously, I know it sounds cliché but you’re not alone.

Ive been messin with heroin for over 10 years. went to methadone clinic for 6 months now im tryin to come off that too. all i want to do is stay off the shit. but then again I am so sick of being sick and tired. Its not worth goin through the pain of the consequences to just feel good for a few hours. If I go back out there Im not comin back. I know I will die the next time.

Blessings to you, lifeneverdeadforever. this song has helped me, also- as i know it helps so many others. lost everything in a hurricane here in florida, along with entire communities. is horrible, and the healing is intense, but the light will shine as it always has historically. nice to see this beautiful song still alive and well. peace.

Sixx A.M. are one of my favourite bands nikki sixx inspires me so much i was clinically depressed when i discovered the heroin diaries book and cd it helped me so much im from christchurch new zealand and i just lost everything in the earthquake we just had but one of my few things to survive was the heroin diaries album its helping me through these tough times

I can't stop listening to this song..... Sixx:A.M. is such a great band. Nikki Sixx has been one of my heroes since I was little. My dad hooked me on Motley Crue at a very young age and now just then fact that I'm old enough to understand (I'm 14) what Nikki went through... Just wow. I read the Heroin Diaries and The Dirt and I can't wait for This Is Gonna Hurt.

What a beautiful song. As someone who messes up a LOT, I feel like no one understands what I go through every day, not even my dad or my friends, who I would gladly die for. I keep making mistakes and keep blaming myself and crippling myself further for everything that happens in my life and all the while it feels like the only one who would ever understand is a fictional hero of mine, but as he's not real that can't help...This song helps, though.

He states that is Ok to slip for the " one day " and not throw everything away. The everything is what you have already " WORKED " for in recovery. It is work, hard work but over time it get easier my friend as long as you " WANT IT " . Peace be with you..
