  • what's the different with modules and pieces?

  • Brilliant ! I am all thumbs when it comes to such things.

  • can i make this one with 30 pices??

  • I've never tried, but probably you can make one with 30 modules.

  • good origami well done

  • easy, but VERY time consuming

  • thanks for the clear video

  • ok thanks

  • but will it be the right size because the one you used in the making looked like the same size as printing paper

  • That depends on which country you live in. In the US and Canada you use letter sized paper, and that won't work. If you live just about anywhere else printing paper will be A-sized and will work.

  • can you use printing paper?

  • Printing paper will work well - as long as it's A-sized.

  • Isnt this an Omega Star??

  • The omega star is a different model. So the answer is: no.

  • And You Are Gayer, Fag

  • thank you sara!! I just completed my star for chrsitmas tomorrow :-D

  • i find all of your videos fairly easy to make for me, which is very convenient for me. u make very good tutorials. im hoping to make THIS star for my christmas tree star.(i used a 6 pointed 2d star last year). but what do u think is the hardest model you've made that maybe can challenge me?

  • The hardest model I've made a video for is Robert Lang's scorpion. As to the hardest model I've folded in general, it's hard to tell - maybe Kamiya-san's wizard?

  • do u know where i can get the directions???

  • To the wizard? Diagrams are in the book "Works of Satoshi KAMIYA 1995-2003", which is available for sale on origamihouse(dot)jp

  • what about the scorpian???

  • Just search for scorpion amongst my videos. Or search for scorpion on happyfolding(dot)com. As to diagrams, they're in the book "Origami Insects and Their Kin" by Robert J. Lang.

  • i owe you so much. many thanks. :D

  • can you make...only a pic or fast video of the wizard? like the pegasus

  • Maybe the next time I fold it. But that won't be in the next couple of months, I think.

  • hey sara your aewsome!!

  • spiky star is awesome made it in about 45 min to an hour first time im a 6th grader! happy folding

  • Haha, I'm only kidding. But really, thanks very much for posting this it makes a great addition to my modular origami collection!

  • Oooo I have to give this one a try! The locking mechanisms look a little flimsy, but you seemed to get it to be pretty solid nicee XD

Now you should post a video on the Sonobe module and make a huge soccar ball out of 270 of those modules! haha

  • I tried to make one of these but it was unstable when putting together the modules

  • What do you mean by unstable? For me, it's ok if the model falls down, but if you put it in a backpack and it's squished together a bit, the star might open (but wouldn't fall apart completely). If it's much more unstable than that, maybe you're not locking the modules correctly, or it might help using thicker/stiffer paper.

  • how do you post videos

  • I guess you already figured it out. ;)

  • yep itought myself =]

  • omg so cool

  • do you know how to make an origami secret box

  • I've finished mine already! :) Thanks for the videos. This model was fun to make and wasn't too diffuclt. Mine came out really well and looks awesome (color-coordinated and everything :D ).

  • Whoooo Sara into modulars now :D Btw Looks great!!

  • Ah, you got me. I decided to teach modular stuff ever fortnight this trimester. I actually enjoy modular designs more now. :)

    Don't tell anyone, though!

  • man! you finally got a new video! what happenned?

  • Awesome I'm going to try it!!!!!!!!

  • nice one sara
