@Zeithri Dude, there is no Gideon. It's Metal Warriors. It was never released in Japan, and it was never known at any point in development as Assault Suits Gideon. It's not part of the Assault Suits series.

If you look at the map right before you get to that guy and he shoots himself it shows the areas of each faction on earth, Europe, and most of up part above china, so Europe,Russia and what used to be nations of the Warsaw pack as the enemy vs the rest of the world. America,Japan,China and the middle eastern nations to name a few are on the good side. Interesting match ups huh?

Omg, thanks for showing me this. I played this at my friend's house several times, but I never got the "good" ending. I was only able to see the main character's girlfriend dead. I thought there was a better ending, but this confirmed it.

Yes, it was, but it too was an AWESEOME shooter. Also, if you have a Wii, Cybernator is NOW available through the Virtual Console! Too bad I'm broke until Monday...

The SNES days were the platinum days of faming. I'd kill for a 2D (MAYBE 3D) remake of the game with tweak graphics, but the gameplay unchanged. I rented Cybernator multiple times as a kid.

SAME here, I still miss the idea at the 1st stage of jumpin' out your robot and shoot down the bad guys to bing the big ship back to port. I hope KONAMI finds a way to bring this back 3D or 2.5D.

I miss the thrill of the launchpad from your main ship. I still have not found a 3D Mech game that has the simple run-and-gun arcade feel of Cybernator. I'm sure a game like it would be a hot seller, especially with a strong multiplayer setup and a mech customization option.

Have you ever played that ps2 game called "EINHANDER"? I think THAT game is not exactly 2D,or 3D, but 2.5D. I would LUV to see cybernator brought back in that stlye, that is if konomi won't go the full 3D route.
