This isn't a bad culture jamming project, it's executed nicely and looks great. However I have to agree with
rojocero. Most people won't listen to their music devices when with friends or family (especially during conversation) as it is rude. I can understand the isolating aspect from the rest of society but usually I think most people would just take their headphones out if a stranger started to talk with them. But still the images and the video was well made!
Not bad... although to be honest I've never heard of this sort of problem before. I don't really hear much talk of people getting too addicted to their media players. And most people I know just listen to it when they either are by themselves already (like when taking the bus in the morning alone) or they need to create a more isolated setting (like studying).
Yeah, same here. I only use my ipod when I'm alone or when I'm walking from class to class in college. Though when I'm out with friends or family, I don't listen to my ipod; it's just rude.
you know, this is hypocritical. people all over the world are addicted to Youtube. culture jamming is funny but how would YOU get breakfast if you had nothing in your kitchen? go to Mcdonalds. How would YOU listen to music if you can't find the right cd?
Hey there! I appreciate your comment and your point of view. The point we were trying to get across was not necessarily show that the iPod (Apple) product is a bad thing on its own, but more point to the use of the personal entertainment devices which, depending how they are used, are disconnecting the individual from their environment and reality. People miss out on a lot of experiences and conversations when plugged in...

I know people who use their electronic media devices solely and intentionally for this purpose of isolation
