putamierdaaa kinda has a point, seems like the money spent on a balancing robot could have been used for other things, but on the other hand, im sure they could incorporate this into something.
Ok,just wanted to say one thing,I'm very pissed with science.Years ago theoricaly we got to the moon and the future was bright and cool, and in the year 2000 we would have flying cars, and robots everywhere cleaning the house and so on.
Ok,so it's year 2000 and there are no robots nor flying cars no space colonies, someone was lying back then or people are getting very stupid,I don't think mankind is so slow evolving but in science.
You suck, all your inventions are lame, useless and dissapointing.
I don't think you are understanding the nature of technological evolution. It grows exponentially. This robotic research is the first primitive steps in what will change human life on Earth -- probably in your lifetime.
@Putamierdaa: Don't worry you will have your flying cars. The 1950's authors who predicting flying cars for the year 2000 were not scientists -- they were fiction writers. But the day for computer guided "flying cars" will come this century.
Putamojado: Even if we had the cars they would be shooting us down because the radars would be picking us up as terrorist..:P I can already see it... 100 flying cars crash into the Empire State building, is this another terrorist act?
Dumbass! they do have flying cars but not like you see in the Jetsons or any sci-fi movie. I must be retarded...pfft. Your the dumbass bitching about why we dont have flying vehicles in 2k. Sigh... besides your broke ass wouldnt be able to afford one so stick with your piece of shit Ford F150 w/ rainbow tent and that boomerang antenna... puta.
nice concept where is this project at, my guess is gyro on motorised ball problem would be limited flat surface bot, safety, power source
