Muta-ling instead of lurkers would get you map control, allowing you to expand more and take advantage of the lack mobility of a Terran mech army.

That said, I'd have done no better. My APM is considerably worse.

I would have actually gone for a overlord speed/drop load up those lurkers that he has seen and try to deal some damage just like you were thinking.

Hey, at least you have 150 apm, I have anywhere from 50-70, and only very rarely 70. I seem to max out at around 95 ish

You can have pretty high APM if you use your hotkeys often.

If your apm counter says 150 its probably about 100 acording to BWChart, they dont count actions the same way

I thought you were commenting while playing before, now it makes more sense because I thought that was crazy. I agree with some of the others. I was thinking you need more zerglings early game. You stick with lurkers too religiously. You started making a lot of money and I think quicker Mutas would have been effective, you just waited too long. But of course it's alot easier for me to say what to do when I'm not trying to do it mid game myself. I would like 2 play you but my internet is too slow

Yea should of just pump zerglings, lings would own whatever mech units they are against. Specially good if you are low on gas and behind.

I'm not that skilled at StarCraft, but I'm sure that well-micro'd Vultures could easily tear apart entire Zergling armies. But I might be wrong.

If it was 2 vultures against 6 lings then yes. But its much more harder to do if there are masses of lings.

What about their mines? I'm sure well placed mines can easily decimate entire Zergling armies. And they aren't that expensinve to research, only 100 Mins and Gas.

I think on this map you want mobility so cracklings/mutas are a pretty good choice and then going into ultras with defilers would be very nice.
