  • excellent wheelie man ,looked like you could do that till the petrol runs out lol.

  • @keff1340 Lol Thanks man. If my arms were stronger I could. About 5 miles is the furthest I can go before my arms give out.

  • An SV650 can easily pull 2nd up, and probably 3rd. Vtwins are torque as hell. I prefer clutch ups, myself. That way you don't have to be as hard on the gas and chase the balance point. You just practice and find the right speed and RPM and you toss it up, catch it close to balance, and go from there. I'm not nearly as good as bgmagma, but he did teach me the basics when I started riding. Still practicing though, someday I'll be able to pull it off pretty well.

  • Very nice Wheelie man, and the way you brought it back down was perfect. I'm trying to learn myself. My SV650 seems to only wanna pull it up in first though, although someone with more experiance could probably get it up in second. I haven't really practiced enough, but I worry more about dropping the bike than I do about getting hurt!

  • @rooftopvoter Thanks man. Years and years of practice. lol An Sv is most definitely capable of doin a wheelie in 2nd gear,m even prob makes enough torque to pull 3rd as well. Try this. Next time your out on a quiet road. put it in 2nd and put your left foot on the back peg, that'll transfer your weight a little further back. get goin about 40mph, stand up and you may just have to bounce it a bit, but crack the throttle around 40mph and it'll come up. Then just balence after that.

  • @bgmagma10R thats how it works. well explained. just try to get it nice and slow and get a feeling for the way and speed it comes up. imo thats the most important part for starters...

  • @unclebenz86 Yes, And Mongoos you don't want to learn how to do wheelies by clutching. once you get comfortable, yes it is easier to clutch it up, but more violent that way. When learning, learn to power it up to see how your bike is going to act on the back wheel, and get used to and learn how far back the balance point is. After you can balance a wheelie, then you will be more comfortable learning to clutch a wheelie.

  • @rooftopvoter its because your sv650 sucks donkey dick

  • @DetroitStig Lol!!! Actually one of the first long wheelies I saw my buddy was on a sv650 back in like 03.

  • Like everyone else man love the form and the touchdown was immaculate!!!! I have my zx10r and havent tried wheelies not rushing it i had a r6 and was wrecking it (come on it was yamaha) but i think i need to get the feel of the 10rs power only had it for half a summer in 11.. just waiting for the rocky moutains to not be so rocky!!

  • @LMarquez1618 Haha thanks man! Wheelies on a liter bike are a lot different than a 600, but just start rollin into 1st and just work on balencing the best you can in first. You don't have to straight carck the throttle like you do on a six to get the front wheel up. Just seat time and determination. lol

  • Sick form bro! I love my 10r, and hope to get my wheelies tight like that! Someday...

  • @MiBurnout Hell yeah thanks man! 10R is the only way to go!! You'll get there man. Don't try to rush it, you'll get where you want to be.

  • fuck these comments... bud seriously nice control form. and most importantly perfect touch down.

All with the use of proper gear. Keep riding !

  • @tsi91noob Thanks man!! Done a wheelie or two in my time. lol

  • Yeah more than likely it is stock gear. Just don't try to learn to fast and you'll be fine!

  • Its probably stock gearing because the guy I got it from was scared of it so he never really rode it hard or often.(7 yrs and 6k miles)I really have to see how it feels at stock height and with a little more nerve. I'm just worried about the cost of new plastics more than fearing getting hurt physically.

  • It has lowering links and the links are in the middle so it can come up one or go down one. I'm 6'3" so I don't need it lowered at all but was like this when I got it this past June. I might need to just grow a pair and give it the gas because it seems like its geared high because I was over 175 indicated in 4th gear but it was at redline. Even though I know I have a 39 sprocket in the back. Not sure about the front.

  • @neonmike1000 Thats cool. It'll definitely come up a lot easier stock height. Gearing is about right. Top of 5th you'll burry your spedo at 189. If you were +1 front, your bike doesn't make enough power top pull to redline. Stock gear is tall as hell!!!

  • @bgmagma10R. It only has a micron slip on it now. The tre, pcIII, servo eliminator and k&n filter are all coming up for next season. I don't really wanna mess with the gearing because I need my top end.(I like to keep up with the 14 and busa I ride with). I just really want to be able to throw it up and keep it up every now and then.

  • @neonmike1000 How low is your bike? You can just go a couple up on the back and it won't hurt you too bad at all. Stock gearing will go mid 190's. You go a couple up on the back and it'll only put you high 180's but it'll help out quite a bit.

  • @bgmagma10R. I didn't know there were so many differences between the 04 and 05. My bike only has 8400 miles and still scares the hell out of me so I'm not as comfortable with hitting the throttle hard enough for a good wheelie but I have been over 170. I had an 05 gixxer 750 last year that came up a lot easier than my 10 so it must be the lowering links in the rear.

  • @neonmike1000 Thats cool. There really isn't much difference between the 04-05. The 05's make a little more power than the 04's. And haven't really herd of 05 frames cracking but I'm sure its happened. Is your bike stock? If so get a tre. It'll help with the boggyness down low. Check out my channel. Rep'n for the kawi world. my bike has gone faster this year than it ever has on the motor! Love the Kaw power!!

  • Are you saying the bike in this vid has 56K miles on it? If so that's impressive. With the wheelies have you experienced the cracks in the frame that I've been reading about in the forums?(I have an 04 blue 10R). I love it and really want to step up my wheelie game but I scared of that frame cracking, also how often do you change fork seals?

  • @neonmike1000 Yeah it actually has close to 60k now. I've only changed my fork seals once. From what i've head the frame cracking is mainly on the 04's. I've been worried about my frame cracking too but it hasn't yet. I've put this bike through hell and back and its been a trooper. The frame gets cracked from comin down hard from wheelies. Its hard to do at first but when you do wheelies. once you break the balance point to come down, roll into the throttle pretty hard so it comes down.

  • Hahaha my bike is a trooper!! 56k miles strong and still runnin like a champ!!

  • dude, that was great. the bike sounded like it was going to die but who cares

  • hawt.

  • NICE
