Its almost impossible to say 1 breed bites harder than the other, or can beat another, because it depends on the line it is from and and also situation has alot to do with it. Example- I admit my 70lb female German shepherd could NOT bite near as hard as my brothers 105lb Male. Regardless, i love my dog so much, and couldnt give a F**k how hard she does or doesnt bite! If I was a k-9 handler, I would pick the German Shepherd. The Rottweiler may have a better bite force, but the German Shepherd is far more intelligent as the third smartest dog in the world, and much more loyal and active. I love my GSD, and I would not give it up for anything.
Pitbull is not that strong, it is simply the fact that these dogs are mentally unstable makes them dangerous. Thankfully in my country they were all euthanised.

I have had numerous dogs from German shepherds, saint bernards, pits, and now my rottie!! Been bit by my shepherd, pitbull, and my new rottie while training them for schutzhund!!! By far my rottie has the nasty bite, especially when they have excellent scissor action going!!! As far as intelligence, the shepherd is a active chase and bite dog were my rottie is a track and destroy dog!! If I was a k-9 handler, I would pick the German Shepherd. The Rottweiler may have a better bite force, but the German Shepherd is far more intelligent as the third smartest dog in the world, and much more loyal and active. I love my GSD, and I would not give it up for anything.
