  • Capcom: About that car.....

We kinda took it and used it for a bonus stage...

    Sorry about that. ^^

  • I wonder if them boxing gloves do him well during sex?

  • I love Dudley, an unexpectedly badass gentlemen.

  • did him and balrog never take off the gloves???how the @#$#@ he drink that tea???WTF!

  • @luiz152515

In one clip I saw Balrog type on a computer with gloves on ^_^.

  • lol srsly they should have at least shown him with one hand without the glove...

  • what a badass

  • so he wears his gloves...all the time?

  • doesn't he look like the guy that flexes alot in FMA LOL?

  • I like dudlys voice from street fighter 3rd strike anyone agree?

  • You know you're a bad-ass gentleman if you drink tea with your boxing gloves on.

  • lets drink tea like gentlemen

  • Funny how all of these fighters are supposed to be from all around the world but they all speak Japanese. It would have been cool to have each character speak the native language of their country and then subtitle it.

  • Hmm... I'm not one to turn down a good bout, but i find this invitation to be lacking in the social graces.

  • How can he write emails on his computer with boxing gloves on?

    Seriously, you guys.

  • It's great to see they added some compeditors from Street Fighter 3 in this game. Great to see how Ibuki, Makoto and Dudley first meet Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li and Akuma. If they have a third version, Alex is a defenate must!!!!

  • who sits around in tuxedo and boxing gloves sipping tea..lol does he whipe his arse with his gloves on 2

  • why da hell would u drink tea with boxing gloves

  • @chunky191 I think the real question is, if you could do everything while wearing punching gloves, wouldn't you?

  • has anyone heard dudley's English intro. Were capcom so lazy that they couldn't get an actual British person to do his voice.

  • "I'd like an order of your waffle fries... Hold on a second... CROSS COUNTER!!!!"

    hahaha

  • i love how he drinks tea and reads a newspaper with 16oz gloves on

  • this guy wears boxing gloves to everything

  • "I could use something to get my mind off that blasted missing car anyway..."

Hmm... He hasn't known anything about Gill being the culprit yet... Perhaps Dudley's intro affirms the claim that SF4 takes place before SF3 other than Ken's intro in SF4 and ending in SF3 (where the former shows Eliza is pregnant and the latter having Ken's son grown up).

  • I wish they'd do the same thing they did with the vanilla SF4 cutscenes and actually make them full animation clips. This is just a bunch of still frames.

  • lol he's drinking with his big hand

  • Only Dudley is cool enough to hold a teacup wearing boxing gloves.

  • so...he never takes off his gloves??...c'mon...

  • Where's that blasted missing car?! I can smell it.

  • The Street Fighter 3 themes were the best loves the remix in the background

  • oh snap! his theme sounds sicker than ever

  • Man gotta love the remix of his theme in the background

  • Is his boxing gloves stuck to his hands or what?

  • its not a bad anime intro at all.good video..

  • my mom thought i was looking at porn when she heard the song on dudley's video

  • @XSexualPanda rofl

  • LOL, the stolen car story from Street Fighter 3: New Challengers rears it's ugly head!

  • @DANfan69 Really ? I thought it was the car that you had to destroy in Street Fighter 2

  • epic!

  • Man that was an awesome "Makoto intro scene". Nice description =D

  • @KBoy515 WTF are you blabbing about. You confused the shit outta me right now and Im as sober as possible.

  • @abs1abs lol, the uploader fixed the description

  • Dear Dudley,

How do you drink tea with boxing gloves on?

    Signed,

    A concerned citizen

  • @ZineappleVids Hes just that good. Hes doing it ONE HANDED, while also opening a letter and reading it and dictating to his manservant in Japanese. He has become one with his gloves, just like a Samurai and his sword.

  • @ZineappleVids the same way balrog can type on a keyboard with boxing gloves

  • @ZineappleVids

Reminds me of Strong Bad answering his emails with boxing gloves on :)

  • I looove his theme!!

  • DUDLEY'S THEME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • hes gonna burn himself withthat tea...damn boxing gloves. roffle.

  • I'm gonna quote a title of an old song. Return Of The Mack. (I mean Dudley of course)

  • always wonder why he always has his gloves on.

  • Ask Balrog. lol

  • God, Dudley is such a G

  • @personM4N yea, a gentleman.

  • Dudley music fuckin rules!! seriously though, I like Dudley more than Balrog

  • Wow, the intros are even worse animated than last time. Think they can add shimmering rays of sunlight and we wouldn't notice!

The music more than makes up for it though.

  • It's not worse animation. It's not animated at all. lol

  • @metaXzero The endings are animated.

  • so we got 3 african based fighters Dudley from England, Dee Jay from Jamaica, and of course Balrog from the United States, so this is kinda unique.

  • @bigbadrich08 wow 3 african based fighters not from africa? didn't know that was even possible... retard.

  • @bigbadrich08 I thought Dudley was Indian British.

  • @thisfireburnsalways nope he's black

  • @bqd89 Well it really hasn't been confirmed by Capcom so its pretty much up for dispute. It would make much more sense to see a English Indian guy than an English Black guy even though there are a lot of Africans in England. How is he black too? He doesn't have that many "black" features. His hair is even straight.

  • @thisfireburnsalways As far as "black features" go his hair IS straight. Duh he probably got a perm. Plus Capcom isnt that specific when it comes to ethnicity. (Notice all the caucasian looking Japanese people with blond hair and blue eyes ( i.e. Karin and R.Mika) I assumed he was black because boxing is more common among black people than Indians. Think on THAT

  • @bqd89 But.. he is also English and you know how those English people like to box. Boxing is only more common among Black-AMERICANS. Hey but I could be wrong though. He might be black.

  • i love how the description box is way off from who's intro it is lol

  • The Car he's talking about is a reference to Street Fighter 3: the next generation It's established in SF3 that Gill has Dudley's Red Cadalliac for some reason. (SF4 takes place between 2 and 3 so this most of SF4 is story filler for the characters.)

  • wow the tea was soo hot that he had to keep his gloves on lol! Also since SSF4 is before SF3, this would mark the first time his car is stole right?

  • Where is the Theme of this guy!!

  • Dudley's cool and everything but, if he's a gentleman, why did he just make a slurping noise when he drank his tea? It's considered bad manners to slurp your tea. I know it's because Japan does it and the game is made in Japan but I'm talking character-wise. Another little ungentlemanly thing he does in SSFIV is in one of his win quotes, he calls his opponent a "bloke". A gentleman wouldn't say "bloke" he'd say "chap". Very small, unimportant details. I just wanted to point them out.

  • @Drakulbites hmm, never knew any of this...are you from Europe?

  • @shindra86 Yeah, I'm from the UK (Scotland, more specifically) and as a kid, we were always taught not to making slurp noises while drinking tea. "Bloke" is more of a common term for a man you don't know. Upperclass men will say "chap" instead of "bloke".

  • @Drakulbites Well you're definitely right on those notes regardless.

I can only hypothesize that since SSFIV takes place before SFIII, Dudley is still upset about his missing Jaguar and that, he wasn't as mature then, till in SFIII.

I do remember one of his win quotes in III was ,"Not very articulated, are you? Work on your movements, chap!" I guess a gentleman isn't always perfect lol

  • @FTKBuster7 I not putting to much in the story cause that will change

  • @Drakulbites probably his opponent is a very bad opponent?

  • @Drakulbites He didn't slurp that bad.

  • @xThunderxWolfx I know but a slurp is still a slurp as far as "gentlemanly manners" go. It doesn't ruin the character or anything. It's just a little detail they overlooked. There are bigger inaccuracies in SFIV & SSFIV. Like the Scotsmen in the historic distillary wearing pinafores when it should be kilts.

  • @Drakulbites I've heard gentleman say "bloke" before. Don't sweat it old chap...

  • @Drakulbites

    Wrong

Its nice to sip your first bit of tea to make sure its not too hot

  • @TheresAGhostInMyBeer True but you shouldn't make a slurping noise. That's the "bad manners" part. He should take a sip without making a slurping noise. Again, I know it's just a tiny lttle detail and not important at all. I just thought I'd point it out.

He lives his whole life with his boxing gloves on, noisely drinking tea is the least of his problems.

  • @Drakulbites Not to mention that a gentleman would not wear god damn boxing gloves all day.

  • ..... "Let's fight to the death, like gentlemen.... Because that what I do to get my mind off A STOLEN FRIGGIN' CAR!!!!" - Really Capcom? Couldn't find a better story? Even Dan has better story than this...

  • What do you expect? Some convoluted mess about assassins, clones, and finding a missing friend?

Sometimes, Capcom SHOULD keep it simple. SF's storyline is already a mess.

  • 0:31 Does he always were those gloves?

  • "Lets R.S.V.P , Like Gentlemen"

  • they could have ad-least take his freaking gloves off while hes not fighting. Balrog too.

  • those must be some special boxing gloves i say that cause i can't pick up my cup like that

  • Dudley vs. Strong Bad in a, "SOMEHOW DOING CONVENTIONAL, EVERY DAY TASKS WHILE WEARING BOXING GLOVES CONTEST!!!"

    ...it'll be crazygonuts.

  • Guess staring Balrog lol

  • they kept his theme song

  • ".....that blasted missing car.."

Cut to shot of Ryu beating the sh*t out of a car.

  • @FoobChain LOL

  • lol how he´s gonna open that letter with boxing gloves??

btw he looks a bit like armstrong from full metal alchemist

  • @XXLink hahahahaha I know right?

  • @XXLink

Wouldn't armstrong look more like him. After all, sf3 was out years before FMA

  • dudley drinks tea with gloves cuz he's a G!!

  • Cool intro. Dudley is a cool character. Oh, i don't know if you've noticed but there's an error in the description of the video.

  • well everyone.....its time to fight like gentlemen.

NO DIRTY MOVES! *cough* balrog *cough*

  • why is he drinking tea with BOXING GLOVES ON ?!

  • I think the question isn't "why" is he drinking tea but "how" is he drinking tea with boxing gloves on? O_o

  • @HollowDeath13

Because Dudley is a gentleman, and just in case someone jumps out of nowhere he can kick his ass.

  • @HollowDeath13

If Balrog can type with boxing gloves, Dudley can easily drink tea with them.

  • @HollowDeath13

would you really ask that question to a man who DRIVES with said gloves on?

  • @HollowDeath13 seriously,...LOL >:D

  • @HollowDeath13 thats a good one man

  • @HollowDeath13 I would go ask the same thing!

  • @HollowDeath13 I can do it

  • He's motherfucking Dudley, that's why.

  • He's that dignified. That's why. Only gutter trash boxers take off their gloves.

  • That remixed theme sounds perfect for dudley. Can't wait to fight balrog as dudley...EPIC!

  • All the endings are animated. I've already seen juri's ending. Don't worry people. Makoto and dudley's prologues suggest SSF4 takes place soon before SF3.

  • @dublos86

Of course SSFIV takes place before SFIII. It's only like one week after SFIV IIRC.

Their is STILL the problem with Ibuki and Makoto's ages and I can't figure out how the hell they can make it work (They could say they are younger, but Makoto should be like 12. Retcon SFIII to taking place like a year or 2 after SSFIV and then you run into the problem of Ken's son who isn't born yet in SFIV, but is a toddler by SFIII, etc).

  • @metaXzero -- Of course i know SSF4 takes place before SF3 but in the past people always speculated that SF4 takes place like 5 yrs before 3rd strike but the inclusion of dudley et al shows that SF3 is probably only 1 or 2 years away.

Ibuki and makotos age would not have been an issue but for ken's son. I wonder how Capcom are gonna sort that out.

The SSF4 storyline will be like a SF alpha 4 since many of the characters storylines continue from their SFA3 endings.

  • @dublos86

It's in reference to the theory that in the past, SFI, SFII, and SFIII took place in the year they were released. IIRC, this was backed up by the characters ages and birthdates. Of course now, Capcom has retconed birth years out of existence for obvious reasons.

Dudley can be in SSFIV with it taking place 5 years before SFIII and there'd be no problem IIRC. Dudley isn't some teen lol

  • Capcom never officially confirmed character birthdates though did they?

  • They actually did. They still confirm everything but the years of birth.

  • @dublos86

I thought the thing with the Alpha series was that it was between SFI (the black sheep SF) and SFII (the game Capcom prefers to think as the first game)

  • @metaXzero -- yup ur right . The chronology is SF1, SF alpha series , SF2 , SF4 series and then SF3. You got the timeline right. Watch the sf characters alpha3 endings and watch the sf4 characters prologues and you'll see what I'm talking about.

  • Yeh u got the timeline right. However if you watch the sf characters alpha 3 endings and their sf4 prologues you'll see what I'm talking about.

  • Magnificent how they portrayed Dudley. I'll enjoy mastering him.

  • LOL, the car is gone?

  • SSFIV takes place before SFIII hence the car is gone. :(

  • @ASpinningBirdChick Yeah, I knew that, it's just kind of confusing how this entire storyline works.

  • i just love studley dudley i will master HIM!

  • wearing boxing gloves and drinking tea.

    LOL

  • Wait a minute? So Gill already stole the car?

  • Gill confirmed for Super Street Fighter 4 Turbo

  • I'm guessing that in SSF4 he still don't know who stole the car yet. Just a theory of mine...

  • no, he acquires it from Dudley´s dad

in the first Street Fighter III Dudley recovers it

  • Comment removed

  • Sweet ! They've remix his 3rd Strike theme !

I thought Capcom said that they would improve the cutscenes, never thought they would use still images instead. They do look really good however, so it's probably better to get good images then average animated cutscenes.

And I love the ending, nice reference to SF3.

  • @MrJechgo my thoughts exactly. I was somewhat dissapointed with the animation in the original.

  • Lets keep our finger cross that it's actually animated with motion at the end of the game..

  • there is

  • Don't worry. The endings will be animated.

  • The endings are animated. Ive seen juri's ending.

  • @reel9 The ending ones are animated.
