  • Well the company that I work for is a sister store of the Hollywood store. We started to finally get some of the old school stuff but no this one yet. I know that we are getting this I love the 80's shipper in soon and I so hope that some good ones are in it with this one. Thanks again for putting this up. Like I said I love movies and am glad to find a kool person that likes this stuff too.

  • I love this movie. I am a huge movie freak and I also work part time at a movie store and I tell people about all the old time classics and this is one of my favs. "HORSEHEAD BOOK ENDS?" " I LIKE TO KILL THE KID WITH THE GUM" I love it. Thanks

  • Did your store get a copy of it? Legacy placed it in the Hollwood stores and they called the other day to check that we got ours. When I told them that I was in it, they were pretty excited. Who knows, maybe they'll send me on tour!

  • "Ladies and Gentleman, the Lamab High Marching band. The finest marching band on this street at this moment".

  • One of the best clips from Student Bodies, IMHO, is the galoshes shown in the marching band boot scene with him breathing the tune.....I almost peed my pants on that scene.

I turn so many people on to this movie. One of my top ten fav. I was surprized to learn that Richard Belzer was "The breather". His timing and vocalizations were great!

    Thanks for the post.

  • And that's one of the shots that I'm in - teeny tiny on the other side of the street, but I'm there

  • The girl in the red shirt in the locker room looks like Heather Graham!

  • That's awesome that you were in this movie kdavidcochran, it's true that it was filmed at Lamar High School in Houston right? I live in Spring. I heard a rumor this was a film school project but that doesn't sound right? Was it? Also can you pinpont which character you are in the classroom?

  • The exteriors are at Texas Southern Univerity. The football game was at A&M Consolidated. The parade was downtown, of course. It was actually a studio produced production, but it was a "scab" film made in Texas (a right to work state) during the writer's strike of 1981. In the English classroom, I'm two or three people back from the guy talking about Great Danes - dark hair, blue t-shirt.

  • this is one of my all time favorite movies. You rule for posting this.

  • Yeah, I did. And when I first went to see the movie in the theater he was at that showing. Haven't really really heard about him since.

  • Did you meet "The Stick", who played Mr. Malvert? Would have LOVED to have a conversation with that guy!

  • great movie, but its missing gratuitous nudity scenes. thats essential for classic 80s films.

  • Absolutely one of the best b-movies ever made! Imagine my surprise at UNC in 1987, when my substitute professor was the principal from this movie. His name was Mr. Talarowski (Joe Talarowski). He taught my speech class.

    Great movie!!!!

  • Glad I could post it. It's still funny to me how many people love this movie. I was so embarrassed about being in it at the time. But seeing how much other people enjoy it noe makes me feel better about it.

  • I love this movie- what character were you?

  • I was just one of the students. I was only supposed to be an extra in crowd scenes, but the brought me back to be in classroom scenes
