Your version is a little different than the way Ward Allen composed it but it works well -- one of the greatest fiddle tunes every written. In 1956 or so whatever year he wrote it it made the Top Pop 40 in the USA -- the only pure fiddle tune ever to do so. Around the time I remember putting a dime in the juke box and listening to Ward Allen Maple Sugar!!!
