@costatropicalgranada - You might want to look up the Eugene Zapata case and the use of cadaver dogs. Oh you might want to factor in that Eddie and Keela have a 100% track record as opposed to the USA dogs.

If you cant use google call gerry mccann he had lawyers all over the Eugene Zapata case, getting the case file from Eugene Zapata's lawyers to disprove the dogs. He must have been well fuming when the dogs were proved right and Zapata conceded he murdered his wife, oh many many years ago.

1. Cadaver dogs are NOT, as people keep claiming, "100% reliable". In fact they are extrememly unreliable, and frequently give "false alerts".

2. The "death scent" generally disappears after a couple of weeks, and is virtually impossible for dogs to pick up after a month. The cadaver dog was brought into this investigation 3 MONTHS after Madeleine disappeared.

3. Sniffer dogs can be made to “falsely alert” when random targets are forced into their path. This is called "funnelling".

until they went into the McCann's apartment. The scent of a cadaver in doors lasts for over a year, google it

But the British police DID NOT bring in these dogs; they were brought in privately. And the head of Scotland Yard's canine unit is on record as saying that the "death scent" is virtually impossible for dogs to detect after 3-4 weeks.

The British police did not suggest using sniffer dogs 3 months after MM's disappearance. They suggested this much earlier. And yes, they do know that the "death scent" only lingers for a few weeks. They've said so, publicky.

In addition, since you have so much failth in sniffer dogs, how come you don't mentiuon the sniffer dogs that followed MM's scent to the local supermarket? THese dogs were used just 48 hours after M disappeared.

@costatropicalgranada OK, how do you explian the scent of a cadaver was detected only in the McCann’s holiday apartment, and not in any of the McCann’s friends apartments? not to mension the scent of a cadaver found in the McCann's hire car, who knows what wikileaks will reveal about the case. In case you aren't aware, the way in which these dogs were used was criticized by the Scotland Yard dog unit. Sniffer dogs have amazing skills, but they *do* give false alerts if they are repeatedly pointed to a particular spot by their handler. The dogs are highly sensitive to their handler's expectations, and basically they will eventually alert to please him. This is a well known problem with sniffer dogs and is called "funnelling". Sniffer dogs have a 75% FAILURE rate.

@costatropicalgranada after the dogs searched the holiday apartments of the McCann's friends they found nothing, then they get to the McCann's apartment and the dogs pick up a cadaver scent as soon as they enter the apartment, I assume you watched the video of the dog going nuts in the McCann's apartment, Martin Grimes the dogs handler, he didn't point to where they should look ,he just let the dog do there thing, or did he tell them this is the McCann's apartment start barking?

I take your point; however, the fact remains that sniffer dogs are NOT reliable (in fact they are highly UNreliable) and we don't know what happened between video edits. As I said, the dogs *can* pick up and respond to their handler's wishes/expectations. And again, these dogs were used 3 mths later (when the death scent disappears after 2.3 weeks). Did you know that 4 families had stayed in that apartment after the McCanns?

Perhaps, as you are so good, you could do a video pointing out some things from the official files i.e. timelines, dogs. It would also be good if you added that the leicester police and the PJ BOTH agreed that madeleine mccann died in apt 5a on 3rd may 2007.

Yesterday the lying McCanns showed they were even prepared to smile at the mental anguish now being exhibited by their remaining children. Unforgivable.

The sooner this evil couple is eliminated from free society the better for all concerned.
