@efreitor05 I shoot with auto-aim only while on the move and that's rarely or against tanks with far worse armor than my gun can handle, normally I lock onto the target, stop, go to sniper view and disable auto aim, like this the gun is aimed better when I start proper aiming for weak spots. Also that was back in the beta, I don't have Maus anymore, now I'm rollin' in IS-7 but I plan on getting E-100 eventually. Also awaiting the soviet tree update and IS-4 promotion to Tier X.

@a869553 I had Maus in closed beta, we were getting 250gold per day for game testing purposes. Now you have to pay for gold. Currently my two best tanks are IS-4 and Object 212, got them just by playing the game.

@TheEffectPerson: I would definately say yes. The IS-7 has a better sloped armor, so many shots will bounce, even Maus shots. And the Maus has a weak point: Between turret and "body" (sorry, dont know the right word, I'm german) you can penetrate it even with an A-20. (Yeah, thats right. I tried it by myself.) The weak point of an IS-7 is the rear and 2 weak spots at the front. The Maus is also very nice, but I would bet on an IS-7.

@Blackout502 Maus has superior armor to IS-7, well experienced player can be nearly invincible. Tho IS-7 has superior gun and mobility. I'd say they're ballanced about the same overall.

It just has more penetration that it clearly needs, as it's opposer is the Maus, it's lolarmor being just as lollish as KV's lolcannon.

I know that the Maus is better than the IS-7.

But according to some info manual I found on their website, the armor type differs from tank to tank.

The german steel is better, and it's harder to penetrate, so the IS-4 and IS-7 need better weapons that the Maus, Vk4502 and the E-75.If the weapons would be equal the german tanks would just kill russian tanks 10/10 which isn't fair, due to the 'equality' of their guns and the difference between armor, the russians tanks would just bounce every shot.
