A lot of people from my hometown emigrated to Kearny and settled there permanently. My friend from back home has friends in Kearny and visited them few years ago. He loved it there. I have met a few people from NJ and they were all honest and straight-talking. My kinda people.

I am origiinally from Florida, , however I did live one year in Kearny, over off of Schuyler Ave, and I must say , it was one of the best places I ever lived, its beauty and the residents are just so great, I hope to visit again, beleive me, Florida is BORRRING in comparison!!

You guys have it great there!! I miss the awesome weather!!

Wow! What nostalgia. I grew up in Kearny and left there in 1977 - went back for a visit in 1994 and haven't been back since. Its amazing how of it hasn't changed at all. Thanks for this video!

I visited Kearny in June and had fish & chips at the Thistle. My dad, who grew up on Wilson Ave and Elm, speaks of Kearny as if it was Heaven. Kearnites are lucky people.

Nothing ever stays the same. But Kearny was a great place when he was there. It was a tight community where everyone knew everyone. A LOT of good people came from Kearny that did great things. I bet there are till a lot of good people in Kearny today. Sorry for your anger below.

My family lived in Kearny from the 20's to the 60's and always talked about "walking the ave." They said that there were hardly the cars that you see these days. I wish we had Stewarts of Kearny where I live.
