i worked in a hospital that had BN or Broadcast News which was a printed news service channel. It was in a spot in the hospital that didn't have a lot of traffic so I practiced.

I could have been the next Canadian TJ Holmes if I applied myself....

well from trying to read from this video...

my advice would be just relax and organize your self and try reading a at certain pace to keep up with the teleprompter.

just practice from this so you can get used to it

How come this is on a sat feed instead of just generated locally in the studio? I don't understand.

They might have it fed to a satellite for remotes, so they can see what the anchors in the studio are saying.

yes, yes they do... the prompters are usually controlled manually to match the speed and the pace of the reader or to help speed the reader along or slooooow them down. This was not unusual in that regard on a live show.

NBC TODAY SHOW TELEPROMPTER is from a feed I got from the satellite Nahuel 1 at 71.8°W 11505 V linear polarity - transponder 17 SR-FEC SID-VPID6670 DVB

Got a MPEG-2/DVB receiver, you can see this and a whole lot more every morning on this satellite! You can also pick things up from all over the world!

I will see about loading more later on next week so keep checking!
