1august3 quit being a hippy and also dont worry in 2009 when i went their they were renovating the zoo

Unfortunately, most of these animals were taken from the wild to protect them from people. Alot of zoo's now adays do not take an animal unless they are in real danger from poaching, or hunters. Also, alot of these animals in the Beograd zoo were born there, some orphaned, they would never be able to survive in the wild with out the care of us...this is life.
