First of all, the majority of these students go to NYU. Either they are wealthy enough to pay for the most expensive school in its area or they got a scholarship through federal and private funding which someone had paid for. Second of all, they should be greatful we have a police force to protect people in nyc. I live 10 blocks from that area and Im terrified to go near there because of the protesters. Sure, except they weren't being harassed, at all. Nobody was bothering the police. They herded people onto the sidewalks from the street, pushing, shoving and screaming incoherent orders that no one could even understand what exactly they wanted people to do. They DRAGGED a woman by the HAIR under the net, that is why the girls were screaming, to let her go - and then one of them - to the apparent dismay of the other police - sprayed them directly in their eyes.

I.e., 4:24 guy is clearly told not cross, then at 4:37 he tries again, arrested, tries to run.
