Just an afterthought...If the best insult someone can come up with is that you say "um" too many times, then you don't have much to worry about. Just keep doing your thing. The layman will be baffled and the real magicians will recognize your skill.
Thank you very much Juggle. I very much appreciate your comments. I also used that routine when I was the magician at The Rainforest Cafe in Nashville, TN. It fooled ALOT of people both young and old. I think its one of the best close-up effects in magic.
I've been a professional magician for over 17 years. I still use the sponge balls in my walk-around routines. My bro-in-law is Taylor Reed (voted one of the best magic acts in Branson, MO...above Kirby Van Birch) and he uses them still. In fact, a good friend of Taylor's (Lance Burton) used the sponge rabbits in one of his specials (which was produced by Jim Steinmeyer). I can't believe anyone would insult this effect. The sponge balls are a classic and you did them very well. Keep it up!
Your kidding right? Most magic is derived from old magic. I use the sponge balls every week in my professional routine. The routine in the video has been refined but it is one of my stronger effects. So if you think my sponge ball routine is stupid...lets see what you have...and YES that is a challenge!
he pushed them in from the side.

Saying "-Ready? -Mhm. -Alright." kinda ruins the "random person"-thing... Just an idea for your next video..
