unlike the cowboy movies of the times, this makes some effort at historical flavour...the real davey crockett however, would be sneaking out the back door while this wife was throwing a frying pan at him
Wow, this brings back memories. Supper over, bath, into PJs and waiting for Disney to come on. It has been a long time since I have since this episode.
A little advice for all you twerps with the nasty remarks, Why not crawl back under that rock you came out from and let the rest of us enjoy the film!
thks for these videos i was born in 54 and these was the greatest shows for me as a child i had the costoum and he was my hero then and still is today one of the greatest men in american history thk u
I love this film. There's just one thing that I always found funny since I was a kid. At 00:16 the bullets missed the indians, but it would kill all the other people fighting in the back ground but they are still fighting like nothings happened, lol.
@wrich1162 Hahah I can see where you'd say that, but if you note the army is using smoothbore muskets max range 75 yards. Seems to me that the fighters in the back-round are over that distance by about 25 yards. That would be more than enough distance for the musket balls to drop off before ever reaching them. This is a great movie how I wish disney did more with Davy then just the river pirates, another favorite of mine.

@DancinGarou Sad isn't it. I don't like being "old" but these "people" make me want to turn in my membership to the human race.
Thank you again for posting!
