  • So, has any progress been made on the mkIII i saw that golden QEV block and have been checking spudfiles every day since then

  • I have not had any more progress on it for a while. It will be a while before I get any more done on it.

  • Sorry, I think i was unclear with my wording. Im not too concerned with the pilot volume. I was wondering why the air source that is filling the chamber isn' t entirely used up the first time the cannon fires. I was wondering if there was a valve between your airsource and the chamber to stop more than the chamber volume from escaping out the barrel?

Oh and i am very impressed with this cannons performance+ and design. also do you have a any plans for a paintball tank setup

  • What keeps the piston from venting all the air when the popoff actuates the valve? is there a valve between chamber and compressor that closes during firing? or is the spring powerful enough to reset the piston before your entire compressor's chamber is depleted. please respond thanks :)

  • There is nothing to stop the air supply from venting out of the popoff, so a portion of the air is lost. It is worst at high ROF as there is a large supply of air to vent out, at low rates of fire it is much more efficient. A shut off valve could be conected to the popoff piston to prevent wasted pilot air, but it would be a fair bit of mucking around.

  • This thing is awesome, looks like a LOT of fun !
