She is using this child as an example. I have a 5 year old with severe cp and something like this would help us mom's who need to carry our children who can't walk.
I agree for the most part kids that age should be walking on their own. However there is nothing wrong with carrying kids (ages 4-5) if they are out with their parents on a long walk and are tired, if they are injured, or have fallen asleep on the couch and need to be put in their bed.
Agreed. Sometimes you can't take a stroller or wagon with you to put them in. If they are walking all day with you, they will get tired. Remember they take twice as many steps as you do just to keep up.
