Pakistani women should not let themselves be embarrassed for the comments made by the media. They should rather objectively think if Zardari's behavior is something to be upset about.

It is so wrong to generalize on the behavior of Pakistani men based on this situation. In any case, Zardari was respectful and did not lack diplomacy. Pakistani women should not let themselves be embarrassed for the comments made by the media. They should rather objectively think if Zardari's behavior is something to be upset about.

Mountain out of a molehill. He complimented her. They shook hands twice. Protocol/etiquette. For me, as an American, I don't think anything at all about this encounter. Sometimes light-hearted mistakes can make people see the humanity in each other and help prevent problems--like wars.

Zardari is a disgrace; he lacks basic etiquette, leave alone diplomatic etiquette. and, by the way, he has not so far shown any seriousness into investigations related to Bhutto's death.

As much as I hate Zardari( believe me I do).. I just think he was trying to..and did a good job..in making a very awkward situation into a less awkward one since they had already shook hands and had eye contact and then the camera dude told him to shake hands again which meant more eye contact.. and this time he figured rather than smiling and staring at her again while they pretend like they haven't shaken hands yet he cracked a joke.
