I dont know whether i should just get the RI or, save a bit more to get those vintage ones off ebay.

Get the RI... a friend of mine have one and it sounds just like the vintage. There is no difference, there is no need to pay more.

I found my AD9 in a pawnshop and payed u$110 for it. A big deal!
