Greg is so much more of a "star" in the UK version, has a greater rapport with Clive and is a favourite with the audience . . . before knowledge of the UK version, I always perceived Greg as a lesser comic than Ryan, Colin, and Wayne . . . though they are all quite equal.
A shame -- he is so different in the UK episodes. Much more cocky, proud, and energized . . . he fits in perfectly and, to be perfectly honest, shines.
@SeasonVelvet I definitely see what you're talking about. Greg often gets the short end of the stick in the US episodes (his strengths are often sarcasm in observation, and he really doesn't get a chance when Drew continually buzzes in Ryan or Colin for fast, slapstick laughs.)
Don't get me wrong though, I find strengths in all the performers and Colin/Ryan always make me laugh, but I see your point about Greg.

hm, is it only me or is Greg the tallest in this line-up? (I know Mike seems taller in the FTS but Greg slouches all the time) hehe, well he's 6' after all. It isn't really his fault that he looks like the little one next to Ryan, Brad and Stephen.
what's up with Greg's shoes? XP

Greg Proops and Paul Rider are damn hot. Add Tony Slattery and Ryan Stiles and you'd have a sex fest.

I want Greg Proops' shirt!

Paul is very short, isn't he? Especially next to Mike, but even next to Josie. He can't be much more than 5'.

Odd how so many of these improvisations tend to be a bit naughty. I guess that reflects on what's going through our minds most of the time.

Paul Rider must be british - i thought he was american
soggysock666 2 years ago
Like it's Mike & Greg for the US vs. Josie and Paul for the UK.
Paul is indeed British, he was in the Whole Truck Theatre Company, based in Hull.

It looks like a college hat, you know, one that advertises a college on it, but I'm not sure. It looks, to me, like a huge MW.

You can't see it on the YouTube vid, but the hat actually says "No. 1 Taco Bell London"...
