If you stand naturally, your upper body is supported by the lower or centered. As an athlete gets in a ready position like quarterback, they bend their knees and sit allowing their chest to bend down being counter balanced by their back end, still centered. Golfers bend down to the ball with mostly straight legs and now have weight hanging out over their toes (not good). So I say to keep your chest in your knees as staying balanced (front to back) as you sit down and drop your chest.
