During this whole episode I believe Lana was thinking, "Where do I find these weirdos?" This scene between them was so well done I re-watched it countless times. I love Tom Welling's acting here for sure as he speaks.

english is almost like my first language but that's besides the point. Lana meant "watching over me" in that sense, but Clark didnt. He was referring to the footage revealed earlier in the episode where Lana is in the barn looking for stuff. That's how he meant it.
I just LOVE the way Clark looks at Lana when she is in his arms! A very heroic and beautiful save...especially when the camera pans over and we only see his legs as the glass falls; then we see him carrying Lana.
Hahaha. I believe it's #29,489. AFter which, of course, she'll apologize to Clark for not trusting him, only to come back 2 days later to tell him "I don't need you to protect me, Clark." And then the cycle repeats.
