  • Edgar Wright sent me here, to teach us how to make open sequences

  • Edgar Wright sent me here, because he's obsessed with massive knockers and violence

  • Edgar Wright sent me here.

  • Like if Edgar Wright sent ya.

  • @SilentTom lol cool who is Edgar Wright i have never heard of him =)

  • does anyone know the make/year of the car billie drives?

  • Wow, all those 1950s Russ Myers Strippers are 60 years older now.

Puts them around 80s and 90s years old now.

    Still want to do them?

  • mee ow

  • Wow.. im 14 and the scene in the strip joint is.. wow im not used to seeing beautiful women and macho men and the feel is so great! i mean did you notice the movies these days? men more pretty than women? no wonder there are more gays these days! not saying its a bad thing ho

  • IMO, one of the best lines in this movie, with the exception of the opening monologue, of course, is:

(6:15) Billie: "Your heels didn't get round from walking!"

    This movie is effing brilliant!

  • This movie is too kick ass and Tura Satana is the hardcore babe of them all

  • @skulldrix: QT's ''Death Proof'' was not a remake. It was an homage.

  • Can only add, R.I.P. Tura Satana. What a gal!

  • RIP THE GREAT IMMORTAL TURA SATANA

  • RIP Tura...what a gorgeously sexy Lady she was...

  • I pray her soul may rest in peace, from japan.

  • RIP Ms. Satana.

  • Tura, pussycat! Bye bye!

  • Love it.

  • Welcome to violence... The word and the act.

  • This is incredible, these girls are dancing so hot, without being ordinary or naked! Damn, this is yummie!

  • This is a classic....any remake will pale in comparison...what they need is new ideas in Hollywood...not have assed remakes. Go baby go.

  • Completely bonkers. Love it.

  • "Alright, you washed! NOW, I'ma gonna SPINNA DRY YOU!!!!"

  • In my opinion, one of the best openings in any movie ever made.

  • Everything was sexier back then wasn't it?

  • my love... should i burn my tee-shirt! ... ? narrrrrr t'is me to a tee....

  • @HeadGirl I'mma Gonna' Luv SQeeeeZin' You Out!

    ;)

    GO Baby--Go!

  • What did you guys think of a somewhat update on this movie-"Bitch Slap"?

  • lov it

  • "Go, baby! Yeah, baby, GO!!"

The car-driving sequence is hindered - or perhaps helped, according to one's outlook - by the cars obviously not really moving, and being rocked back and forth off-camera by a few guys pushing on the bumpers.

  • This movie is the "A" of "B"'s

  • No one in Hollywood has the body to do a Russ Meyer film.

  • i understand this is a cult classic but I really don't see the appeal

  • @TheUltramagnus1

A hyper stylized movie about hot chicks with huge tits killing men and women in hand-to-hand combat?

Yeah, that's going to attract a cult.

  • Quasimoto!!

  • @johnnyamsterdam yeah, the first time i saw this i was like... WHAT DA!!!?

  • reminds me a lot.... tha queens of the stone age song..... "3s & 7s"

  • thought death proof was as close as are make as he was gonna do, this shit is epic tho russ myer was a god!

  • Ugh. A remake? Really? Of one of my favorite movies of all time?

Oh well - I guess if it HAS to be done, I have a hell of a lot more faith in Tarantino to not completely fuck it up than I would anyone else in Hollywood.

  • HELL NO, not another dumb ass remake!!! Hollywood today is so disgusting. I'm sick of them remaking classics, and putting a modern twist 2 them. They REALLY need 2 come up with NEW,FRESH ideas and leave the original classics be. I've seen this a few times, and its perfect. Classics all the way Baby.

  • Huh? this is the original " STUPEEDO"

  • hey, know of any other cult classics like this? I discovered this movie through My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult (the video for Hit and Run Holiday)...

  • @WETNWILD85 there's a movie inspired by this movie, although it resembles this movie so much it's almost like a remake, I just can't remember what it was called...which of course is going to annoy me forever.

  • @WETNWILD85 It was called Bitch Slap! 2009 movie. Thought it was very enjoyable because it's so ridiculously over the top.

  • @WETNWILD85 Quentin Tarantino's " Death Proof" was the only good remake that actually honored the movie without dissapointing fans with recasting and shit. I don't know about anything else, but Death Proof is the only one worth watching.

  • Tarantino is doing a remake of this film :)

  • this movie rules

  • WHO SINGS THIS SONG

  • The Bostweeds

  • April March I think :)

  • The Bossweeds! (=

  • I'll meet you there; we'll drink a toast!

  • This film is a masterpiece.

  • I saw this in a double feature at the Thalia in NYC back in the 1980's. The second film was "Ms. 45".

  • Quite possibly the greatest movie ever made.

  • If Russ Meyer's name was on the credits, you were certain to see at least two cat fights, a jug-headed Jethro with more muscle than brain, and an old man with a terrible secret. Wherever he is now, I hope the drinks are cold and the women are hot.

  • What a great comment! I'm with you all the way.

Haji lives down the street from me. when I see her again, I'll pass it on.

  • Give Haji my regards! If I ever get a chance to visit Russ Meyer's gravesite, I'll leave a bottle of scotch.

  • That's what I'm talkin' about!

  • i know. i saw this one night when i was up late on IFC.

  • teeheehee
