I think the leaves of that automatic revolving door are designed to fold in a fire emergency, and somehow the device was set off due to the idiot outside trying to push the door in the other direction which is what a panicking crowd would do when trying to pass thru. (pushing on both leaves) (BTW, go look up U.S Patent no. 4565030). P.S . Note the absence of other exits adjacent to the revolving door, that's probably why the door needs to fold to meet safety standards (ironic, isn't it )

this isnt as freaky as it seems. theirs a guy who walks up to the doors from the outside at around 0:20-ish. he does somthing to the doors such as sticking his foot in the door, or jst holding it still with his hands. so in some way he made those doors fail somehow. notice how at the exact point wher the guy from outside arrives at the doors, is presisly wen it breaks. he then backs away then slowly walks off. These comments are hilairous, its a saftey mecanism for evacuating the building. Once triggered the doors turn straight so many people can file out of the building safely without getting all caught up in a slowly spinning door. Revolving doors have a release on the hinge that lets you fold the doors together in pairs of two. The release must have been loose and unlatched when the guy pushed the door the wrong way. Then POW! ... this guy turned into a glass sandwich!

Revolving doors have a bookfold mechanism that allows all leave to fold forward to allow emergency egress. If not adjusted properly or maintained a gust of wind can trigger the bookfold. You can see wind gusts blowing the broken glass and even lifting the carpet.
